Purpose of Training Tab

Purpose of Training Tab

I am trying to use the Training Tab to record trainings for our staff. However there seems to be no provision to record commencement and end date for people who register for training. Instead it seems to record expenses of the training and who incurred aforesaid expenses. Is this the purpose of the Training tab?

If so, is there a provision for us to record training activity for staff. Like training programs attended, start and end date of training programs, status of training - complete, pending, registered etc?
