Quick question about mail integration

This is a very simple and quick question about the mail in Zoho CRM.

If I configure an external mail account with Zoho Mail integration, and I send emails using that externail account (with its own SMTP), does Zoho's 500 daily email limit apply?

So, if my example@example.com account has a 2000 daily email limit, and I send emails from Zoho mail integration using example.com SMTP, the daily limit is 500 or 2000?
