Restrict Appointment Booking to Approved Clients

Dear Zoho Bookings Support Team,

We'd like to propose a feature enhancement for managing appointments within Zoho Bookings. This feature would ensure only pre-approved clients can schedule meetings.

Desired Functionality:

We propose the introduction of a functionality to restrict appointment booking to approved clients only. This would prevent unapproved clients (including guests) from scheduling meetings through our booking page.

Benefits:

This feature would offer several advantages:

  1. Enhanced Security: Prevents unauthorized individuals from scheduling appointments on our calendar.
  2. Improved Client Management: Allows us to control access to appointment scheduling based on client approval.

Current Limitations:
Zoho Bookings currently allows anyone, including unregistered users (guests), to book appointments through the booking page. This can be a security risk and may disrupt our workflow.

Proposed Solution:

We envision a system where:
  1. Clients can register on Zoho Booking.
  2. Client verify they have access to their email address (email verification process).  
  3. An approval process allows us to review client information before granting them booking access.
  4. Only approved clients can schedule appointments through our booking page.
Conclusion:
By restricting appointment booking to approved clients, Zoho Bookings would become a more secure and efficient platform for managing appointments. We believe this feature would be valuable for many Zoho Bookings users.
