Zoho Vertical Studio – 2026 Product Roadmap & Upcoming Features

This is your guide to what is coming in Zoho Vertical Studio throughout 2026.

We’ll update this post throughout the year as items move from development to release, and as and when new initiatives are added. Once a feature is released, it will be reflected here and covered in detail in the corresponding monthly Release Notes post.

Release planned by end of Q2 2026

Modules and Fields:
  1. Aggregate field - Subform row count: With this update, you can calculate the total number of rows in a subform using aggregate field expressions. 
  2. Record state for Picklist options: Picklist options can now respect record states, allowing better control over which values appear at different stages of a record’s lifecycle.
  3. New compound Address field with eight internal fields
  4. Radio fields and slider support for numeric fields
  5. Notes enhancements, including rich-text formatting
  6. Timeline improvements with profile-based permissions for record interactions.
  7. Lookup filter in Growth Plan: Lookup filters will be supported in the Growth plan, helping enforce business rules while selecting related records. [ ✅ Released - Feb 2026]
  8. Record-level sharing for Activities: Sharing rules will be extended to the Activities module, giving administrators finer control over access. [ ✅ Released - Feb 2026]
Canvas upgrades:
  1. Quick edit in Canvas detail view using AJAX: With this update, you can edit records directly from Canvas using click-to-edit fields using AJAX. This update will also give you options to disable specific fields if required, and navigate with tab keys for faster updates. [ ✅ Released - Feb 2026]
  2. CSS styling support: Canvas will support predefined CSS properties, with up to 25 predefined CSS properties per element. [ ✅ Released - Feb 2026]
  3. Grid element: A new grid component will be made available in the Canvas Builder to design richer, more structured layouts.
  4. Versioning: Canvas designs will be versioned versioned automatically, with support for previewing, restoring, cloning, exporting, and storing up to 20 past revisions. [ ✅ Released - Feb 2026]
  5. Canvas home page customization: Home page customization support will be introduced in Canvas for better landing experiences for different vertical applications.
Search, Views and Filters:
  1. Custom View name limit increase: Custom view names can be up to 100 characters, giving you more flexibility to describe complex views. [ ✅ Released - Feb 2026]
  2. Date Operators - Previous and Next: New Previous and Next operators will be available in date and datetime filters for smarter reporting and automation.
Analytics:
  1. Waterfall chart: A new Waterfall chart type will be introduced in Analytics, with ready-to-use templates for visualizing performance trends and comparisons.
Integrations:
  1. Zoho Forms
  2. Microsoft
  3. Google
Other Updates:
  1. Imports and Timeline: Import Timeline will be enhanced to track updates made via module import and Bulk Write API, so changes from imports appear in the record’s activity timeline.
  2. Service details in Inventory modules: When the Services module is enabled, Quotes, Sales Orders, and Invoices will include a Service subform for better billing and inventory management.
  3. Email threads in Cases: Sent emails in the Cases module will be displayed in threaded conversations, making customer interactions easier to follow.
  4. Territory support for child modules: Territories can be applied to selected child custom modules for better data segmentation.
  5. Email thread conversations: Timeline will support threaded email conversations, making it easier to view replies, delivery status, and interaction context.
  6. Enhanced User deactivation transfers: Transfer options will be extended to user deactivation scenarios.
  7. Wizard support: Wizards will be supported allowing partners to design multi-step data entry flows while maintaining compatibility across deployments. [ ✅ Released - Feb 2026]


This roadmap reflects our current plans for bringing more features into Zoho Vertical Studio during 2026. Timelines may evolve as features progress through development and rollout, and this post will regularly be updated to reflect the latest status.
