What's new in Zoho Cliq - Feb/March 2021

Here are some noteworthy and useful updates that you do not want to miss out on.

The all new navigation sidebar

The upgraded navigation sidebar in Cliq prioritizes your ease for accessibility. It allows you to collaborate and communicate efficiently by bringing all the significant components that you frequently access under one roof.

The navigation sidebar is further powered with four new access sections to help you connect and collaborate better.

Files: All the files shared in Cliq, that you have access to can be found here.
History: The History section contains the logs of your entire direct calls, group calls, conversations and broadcasts. From the chat history, you can contextually search and retrieve the required data from your past conversations.
People: You can easily find and connect with people in your organization from the people section in the Cliq navigation sidebar.
Widgets: Extensions in Cliq are often accompanied by widgets. All these widgets can be accessed easily from here.

Set a default status while Check-in/Check-out

Missing to update your current availability status once you login to Cliq? We now have options to set a default status to be auto updated every time you login and log out.

Here's how: Navigate to Profile & Settings --> Status

Select a preferable option to be auto updated as your default status or choose to have a status update popup to remind you, every time you login.

Locate your files easily with OCR

The Cliq search bar is now powered with optical character recognition. You can now search using not just the file name but also using any text in the images shared. You can further use the following search options to narrow down your search results.

Hide the chatlets created via Zoho Meeting

Profile & Settings --> General --> Scroll down to Chatlets section

Chatlets, as you know are chat windows that can be created from a Zoho product that Cliq is integrated with. they provide you the space to Chatlets, as you know are chat windows that can be created from a Zoho product that Cliq is integrated with. they provide you the space to engage in a conversation from within the Cliq interface.

Incase you want to disable the chatlet for Zoho Meeting integration within Cliq, you can do so from here. Once you disable it, the chatlet will not be available within your Cliq interface.

Join in more participants in video/audio conference

You can now add up to 1000 participants in a video conference and up to 60 participants in an audio conference.
