What's New in Zoho Invoice | July - September 2025

Hello everyone!

We’re back with the latest updates and enhancements we’ve rolled out in Zoho Invoice from July to September 2025.

Introducing the Singapore Edition in Zoho Invoice! 

We're excited to launch the Singapore Edition of Zoho Invoice tailored to meet local tax and compliance requirements. You can now easily create IRAS-compliant GST invoices, apply withholding tax, TDS, and generate detailed tax reports. 

Share Invoices through WhatsApp

You can now quickly share invoice details with your customers directly from the Invoice module using your personal WhatsApp account. This helps you get paid faster while keeping communication personal and direct. To learn more, refer to Share Invoices through WhatsApp.

GST 2.0 Rate Rationalization [India Edition]

To help smooth transition to GST 2.0, we’ve rolled out in-app support for updating GST rates across your items and recurring profiles based on the configured HSN/SAC codes. We've added a dashboard banner that provides a complete preview of rate changes before migration giving full insight into the data that are being updated. Additionally, you can also download the updated data in XLSX format for reference or record keeping. 

Bulk Validate HSN/SAC Codes [India Edition]

To comply with GST regulations, all HSN or SAC codes in a transaction must be valid. You can now correct invalid HSN/SAC codes for the current return period or for a selected date range using the Validate HSN/SAC section inside the HSN Summary of GSTR-1. We’ve also introduced a new HSN/SAC Update History section in the GST Filing dashboard, so you can track validation status and view updated transactions easily.

PayNow Payment via Stripe [Singapore Edition]

We now support PayNow as a payment method via Stripe. Your customers can easily make payments in SGD by scanning a QR code using their preferred bank or supported financial apps making payments faster, simpler, and more convenient.

To enable this payment method:
  1. Go to Settings > Online Payments.
  2. Click Edit Settings under Stripe.
  3. Click the Edit icon next to Payment Methods and select PayNow.

Scan Items in Invoices

We've introduced a new Scan Items feature in Invoices module. This allows you to scan the items directly to line items. If an item is scanned multiple times, its quantity will automatically increase in the existing line item. For items with serial or batch tracking, both the item and its tracking details are captured in a single scan. 

To scan items:
  1. Go to Invoices and click + New to create a new invoice.
  2. Click Scan Item in the Item Table to scan the items.

Customize PDF File Names

Zoho Invoice now allows you to personalize the file names of the invoice PDFs. You can customize the names using the supported placeholders or by adding your own prefixes or suffixes. You can also select from a set of predefined naming templates. 

To configure file name:
  1. Go to Settings and select PDF Templates > Invoices.
  2. Click Configure Export File Name and make the necessary changes.

Other Enhancements

  1. You can now bulk update Sales Description in addition to the existing fields available in Bulk Update Items.
  2. You can now filter your sales receipts by creating custom views.
