Zoho Campaigns

I started trying to begin a Zoho email Campaign, but the Campaign module seems to be completely separate. To get my contact list into the mail list, I have to export from my Zoho account, and then search for Zoho Campaigns, sign in, and upload them. Why is this? it means I can track who has been sent an email etc?
