Zoho Commerce Microstore to bypass customer portal on spesific items
Hi everyone,
I’m currently testing the Microstore feature in Zoho Commerce and trying to understand how it behaves with access restrictions.
My goal is the following:
Even though the customer portal is enabled (and the main store requires users to sign in), I want to make certain products publicly purchasable without requiring login.
I thought Microstores might be a good solution for this use case. However, I’m running into an issue:
-
Even after configuring the Microstore and setting checkout access to “All users”,
-
It still requires users to sign in before purchasing
Because of this, I’m not able to achieve a fully public purchase flow.
Questions:
-
Is it actually possible to sell items publicly while the customer portal is restricted?
-
Do Microstores bypass portal restrictions, or do they still inherit them?
-
Is there a recommended way to create a “mini storefront” for public users in this scenario?
-
Any insights or suggestions would be really helpful.
Thanks!
