I’m currently testing the Microstore feature in Zoho Commerce and trying to understand how it behaves with access restrictions.

My goal is the following:
Even though the customer portal is enabled (and the main store requires users to sign in), I want to make certain products publicly purchasable without requiring login.

I thought Microstores might be a good solution for this use case. However, I’m running into an issue:

• Even after configuring the Microstore and setting checkout access to “All users”,
• It still requires users to sign in before purchasing

Questions:

• Is it actually possible to sell items publicly while the customer portal is restricted?
• Do Microstores bypass portal restrictions, or do they still inherit them?
• Is there a recommended way to create a “mini storefront” for public users in this scenario?
