Changing the Default Search Criteria for Finding Duplicates

Hey everyone,

is it possible to adjust the default search criteria for finding and merging duplicate records?

Right now, CRM uses some (in my opinion nonsensical) fields as search criteria for duplicate records which do nothing except dilute the results. Therefore, everytime a duplicate check is performed, a couple of criteria need to be deleted - unnecessary steps which I'd like to get rid of. 

Fields such as Lead Source or First Name are - in our experience - entirely unsuitable for finding duplicates and generate hundreds of false positives. 

But some of the other fields could be finetuned to lead to better search results. 

Is there a way to set the default on our end? That would be very helpful!

If not, at least some of the default criteria need to be adjusted on Zoho's side. First Name and Lead Source are two culprits which make no sense in my eyes.
