How to clone Email Templates across modules in Zoho CRM.



Hello Everyone,

In today's post, we are going to look at cloning of email templates,  one of the most widely requested features by many of you. Let us see how to clone an Email Template across modules in Zoho CRM.

 

Email Templates play a crucial role in creating your Email Campaigns. A lot of effort is taken to perfect your Templates from content, design, including merging of tags. The option to create a Template and clone it across other modules makes it easier when setting up campaigns. 


To clone your Email Template Click - Setup - Customization - Templates


Select the Email Template that you want to clone from this screen.



In this page, you will have the option to clone the Templates as highlighted in the below image.


Now, you can select the module to clone your Template to.

If you have any merge fields that are inserted in the Template then you would receive an error as shown in the below image. You would need to change the merge field accordingly that fits the new module.
