How to create a Time Entry for an existing ticket using Zoho Desk API call

Hi:
I was wondering if someone could indicate which API to use to be able to add a Time Entry for an existing ticket. I would need to add values for: Agent Name, Executed Time, Hours Spent, Minutes Spent, and Description.

Can this be done using XML response? Or does it have to be done using JSON?
