What's the usual way to view all CRM sales orders linked to a contact, when viewing a ticket in Desk?

I don't want to have to open a new tab to see the order in CRM.

And the Desk CRM sidebar doesn't seem to be configurable. 

Would I have to use an extension - if so - can anyone point in the direction of where to find one?
