I want to setup a dynamic brochure for printing that contains certain merge fields within the Potentials module of Zoho CRM, using Zoho Writer to generate the brochure. I do this as follows;
- Select Print Preview in the Potential page
- Choose a Template Category > Mail Merge Templates
- Choose a Mail Merge Template > Brochure 3.docx (one I have configured in Writer). See image 2
On selection of the mail merge template, a preview is generated. I have managed to bring in all the data I need here from merge fields, but the one field that will not import is the image field. No matter what I try it will not merge the image that is loaded in the Potential. Either the default image (circular one), or an image upload field that I create. It just won't import images. The brochure is perfect except for this!
What's really confusing is that in step 1 above, the 'Default Print' template (image 1) which shows on load, does show the image imported from the Potential!! But every other template cannot import images. How does the default template show the image? Is there a way to edit the default template - so that I can set the layout to match my brochure layout?

I don't know why Zoho bothered to put images as a merge-field option as it's useless.
I would prefer Zoho to just fix this as part of their bug fixes and product improvement - but I am willing to pay for the job if someone can advise how to create a fix on my end. Does someone here have the ability to work around this? The image must be imported dynamically, not inserted manually each time.
