IMAP FLAGS DON'T WORK
Good day.
I have a paid Zoho business account under a different user name as well as a paid Google Apps account.
My original purpose in paying for a Zoho business account was to move the Google Apps account to Zoho.
Regrettably, I find Zoho's implementation of the IMAP protocol to be deficient in many ways. Although Google Apps' IMAP is far from perfect, I now find it superior to Zoho IMAP.
For now, I just wish to discuss some of the problems that Zoho Mail has with IMAP flags.
For starters, Zoho IMAP does not always respond to the IMAP 'STATUS "INBOX" (MESSAGES RECENT UNSEEN)' command with an accurate count of recent and new (unseen) messages.
In addition, if a message is copied to Zoho Mail from an external IMAP server, the "unseen" flag from the external sever is not preserved. (Works O.K. if copied between folders in the same account.)
Because of this (as well as Zoho Mail's rudimentary filtering capability) I'm unable to filter messages in the same manner as I am with the Google Apps account.
Any ideas?
