IMAP Login issue with Fountain CRM

I am using Fountain CRM tool to help me hire and recruit employees.  A fundamental part of using Fountain is syncing your calendar within your existing email client with Fountain, which requires you to login using IMAP.  All my setting are correct (enabled IMAP Access, in/out server/host names and ports, 2FA turned off) and yet, each time I try to connect using IMAP the integration fails.  Can anyone help?
