We are excited to announce the release of the enhanced "Who is Working Today" widget in Zoho Workerly! This new update is designed to improve your workflow and provide better visibility into your temporary workforce.


Core Use Case

The primary purpose of the "Who is Working Today" widget is to offer a quick and comprehensive overview of all temps scheduled for the day. By using this widget, you can efficiently manage your workforce and ensure that all shifts are covered without needing to navigate through multiple screens.

1. Filtering Temps:

  • Pain Point: Managers struggled to find specific temps based on various criteria, leading to inefficient use of time and potential scheduling conflicts.
  • Solution: With the new filtering options, you can now filter temps based on Client, Job, Shift Status, Current Title, and Temp Name. This allows for quick identification and management of temps.

2. Widget Display:

  • Pain Point: The widget's visibility was dependent on the real-time check-in value, causing inconsistencies in its display.
  • Solution: The widget will now always be displayed on the dashboard, ensuring consistent access to important information regardless of real-time check-in settings.

3. Access to Timesheet Details:

  • Pain Point: Viewing detailed timesheet entries required navigating away from the dashboard, complicating the process of managing time logs.
  • Solution: A new "View Timesheet" option under the actions icon of each temp allows managers to view detailed time log entries directly from the widget, streamlining the process.

4. Timesheet Information:

  • Pain Point: Only real-time checked-in timesheets were displayed, omitting manually entered timesheets.
  • Solution: Both manual and real-time checked-in timesheets are now listed in the widget, providing a complete overview of all timesheet entries.

Components of Who is Working Today widget


1. Advanced Filtering Options:

    Client: Filter temps based on the client they are assigned to.
    Job: View temps associated with specific jobs.
    Shift Status: Sort temps by their current shift status.
    Current Title: Filter temps by their job title.
    Temp Name: Quickly locate temps by name.


2. Consistent Widget Display:

The widget remains visible on the dashboard at all times, ensuring you always have access to current scheduling information.

3. Enhanced Timesheet Access:

The "View Timesheet" action provides direct access to detailed time log entries for each temp, improving efficiency in timesheet management. Both manual and real-time checked-in timesheets are now displayed, ensuring a complete and accurate record of all time entries.
