Merging Tickets in Desk => Bad Data in Analytics

Curious to know if anybody has experienced this issue when dealing with Desk to Analytics integration:

1. You have two duplicate tickets in Desk so you decide to merge them (in Desk).
2. The ticket that was deleted during the merge is obviously no longer accessible in Desk, but continues to appear the raw data in Analytics reports.

We rely pretty heavily on several of our Analytics report and this "bad data" is causing some serious inaccuracy (and thus mistrust) in the tools.

Zoho support asked me to do a manual sync (even though the tickets are weeks old and numerous automated syncs have occurred). That was done, but didn't fix the issue.

Anybody have thoughts?
