Month to view printing with too much white space showing on each day

Ive just gone to print out my usual month to view calender and in the print preview there is extra white space showing on the separate days. Shown by the red line on the attached image. I print in landscape view and scale down to fit on A4. But now the extra white space means to get it to fit the text is tiny.
