Hello all,
Our most anticipated and crucial update is finally here! 

Organizations using Microsoft Teams phone system can now integrate it effectively with Zoho CRM for tasks like dialling numbers and logging calls.

We are enhancing our MS Teams functionality in CRM by introducing voice capabilities that complement existing chat features. Furthermore, we plan to integrate MS Teams’ online meeting capabilities in the coming months.

With minimal steps, you can easily install MS Teams in the Zoho CRM telephony marketplace and integrate it with your CRM account. Using this cloud phone system, you can have discussions by making calls to your leads, contacts, vendors, and more via phone—directly in your CRM modules.

During Setup, you can choose which users have access to dialling in MS Teams, as well as also modify the list later. 


The integration has the following prerequisites:
  • You must have an account with MS Teams 
  • You must have an account with Azure Communication Services

With this enhancement, you can do the following:

Make calls:

Make quick calls from Zoho CRM using the MS Teams VOIP system. As soon as you enable MS Teams as your Telephony option, you can navigate to the relevant module and start making calls. 

Automatically log calls

Maintain accurate customer call records under the Calls module with its automatic logging functionality. You can even collect details and analytics of these calls at any time with the help of Zoho CRM's reports.

Add Follow-up actions

After you've connected to your target, you can add call descriptions (visible only to you) and log or schedule calls, meetings, and tasks after the call ends.

Receive incoming call notifications:

See who's calling you thanks to on-screen notifications. By having access to each contact's history and information through these notifications, you'll be better equipped to answer each call.

Set automations for new callers

You can also automatically convert unknown callers into new module records by setting up Workflow Rules for the Calls module.
