Multi-brand portal | Unique User Base | Permissions / Invitations

Hello there,

the help doc on the topic unfortunately doesn't answer all my question, so I'll ask it here.

If I select the uninque user base, what are the specific steps for invitation? How does the group assignment work? I want to unlock an end user only for portal A, but not for portal B. So I send an invitation for portal A, with a separate email invitation? I assume that the settings can then be set separately and independently for each portal. So that I can maintain separate email invitations, separate user groups, etc. Is this correct?

Is a host mapping absolutely necessary? Do I necessarily need subdomains? Will the URL for the agent access change as well?

I would be happy if someone could bring some clarity to this issue. Thanks!
