Remove OpenAI Dependency for Zia Meeting Keynotes & Add Hebrew Support

Remove OpenAI Dependency for Zia Meeting Keynotes & Add Hebrew Support

Hi Zoho Meeting Team,

Hope you're doing well.

We would like to request the following enhancements to the Zia integration for meeting keynotes in Zoho Meeting:

1. Remove the Dependency on OpenAI's ChatGPT

Currently, Zia uses OpenAI’s ChatGPT to generate brief, easy-to-read keynotes based on meeting transcripts. We would prefer that this functionality be fully powered by Zoho’s own LLM (Zia), without requiring users to create and configure an OpenAI account.

Relying on an external service like OpenAI:

  • Adds extra setup complexity

  • Introduces rate limit issues

  • Raises concerns about data privacy and external dependencies

A native Zoho-powered solution would streamline usage and improve trust, especially for teams that work entirely within the Zoho ecosystem.

2. Add Hebrew Language Support for Keynotes and Transcripts

Currently, the transcription and Zia summarization feature only supports English. We would like to see support for Hebrew added, so that teams conducting meetings in Hebrew can:

  • Generate accurate transcripts

  • Receive keynotes in Hebrew

  • Improve productivity with localized AI summarization

These enhancements would significantly improve the accessibility and usefulness of this powerful feature for Hebrew-speaking users.

Thank you for considering our request. We're confident these improvements will make Zoho Meeting even more valuable to global users.

Best regards,
Ram
