Request Backend Correction — Domains Mapped to Same Help Center (Multi-Brand Setup Failure)

Hello Zoho Desk Support Team,

I need assistance correcting a domain-to-brand mapping issue in our Zoho Desk instance (The Blue Ribbon Project).
Both of our verified domains currently point to the same Help Center instead of separate brand portals.

Current Configuration (from automated diagnostic)

  • connect.blueribbonproject.org

    • Verified ✅

    • SSL Applied ✅ (Primary)

    • Associated Brand: Connect With Us

    • Status: Working correctly

  • helpdesk.blueribbonproject.org

    • Verified ✅

    • SSL Verified but Not Applied

    • Associated Brand: Employee & Volunteer Help Desk

    • Status: 404 page (not linked to an active Help Center)

At present, both brands share one Help Center:
“Contact Us & Connect”, which lists both domains (connect = primary, helpdesk = secondary).
This prevents the brands from operating independently.

What’s Needed

Could you please:

  1. Create a new, separate Help Center for the brand Employee & Volunteer Help Desk, and map it exclusively to helpdesk.blueribbonproject.org.

  2. Remove helpdesk.blueribbonproject.org from the “Contact Us & Connect” Help Center (which should retain only connect.blueribbonproject.org).

  3. Apply the domain mapping at the global level so that helpdesk.blueribbonproject.org displays its own portal instead of a Zoho 404.

Both Help Centers should remain publicly accessible (no login required) as external access control is handled through our Joomla site.

References

Comet diagnostic summary confirms the architecture issue (shared Help Center with dual domains) and inability to “Apply” the helpdesk domain via the UI.

Thank you very much for reviewing this carefully.
Please escalate to your backend or product engineering team if necessary — this appears to require internal reassignment of Help Center objects, not a UI-level change.

Kind regards,
Taylor Pyles
