We would like to request an enhancement to Zoho People notifications, enabling a native delivery via Zoho Cliq with admin-level control, similar to the notification settings available in Zoho Projects.
Current Limitation:
At present, Zoho People alerts for managers and employees are sent only via email, which is not always effective for teams that rely on Zoho Cliq as their primary communication channel.
Feature Request:
Please allow Zoho People alerts to be sent via: Zoho Cliq, Email or Both. Please make sure there is an granular control per alert type.
Manager Alerts That Should Support Cliq:
* Leave and attendance approval requests
* Missing punch, late check-in, early check-out
* Timesheet approvals and pending reminders
Employee Alerts That Should Support Cliq:
* Late check-in / early check-out notifications
* Leave, comp-off, attendance regularization approval or rejection
* Timesheet approval or rejection
Key Requirement:
Admins should be able to control which alerts are sent to Cliq, similar to Zoho Projects, including:
* Per-alert enable/disable
* Delivery via direct message or selected Cliq channel

This would improve response times, reduce missed approvals, and better align Zoho People with real-time, chat-based workflows.
