Supercharge your Business with Automation: A Proven Blueprint for Success
Hello Everyone!!
This is in continuation to the Power of Automation Series!! In this post, I would like to highlight the Blueprint feature under Task Automation and the use case that we have solved for the IT industry who is managing the Software Development Life Cycle via Zoho Projects
This feature helps to define, visualize, and automate the entire life cycle of a task in your project. Zoho Projects provides a simple drag-and-drop interface you can use to build easily and automate these flowcharts.
The main components of a Blueprint are statuses and transitions
Status : Represents the current stage of a task within the workflow.
Transition : Connects two statuses, enabling a task to move from one status to another.
We do support the Parallel Transitions concept and this refers to two or more transitions that are executed parallelly. A status can be updated only if all the transitions are completed.
Here is the use case - They want all the tasks to follow a strict process & do not want to users to update the task status manually.
Below are the set of status that the tasks should pass through.
1. Planning
2. Designing Process
3. Development Process
4. Testing Process
5. Launch
Below is a quick video demonstration of the above use case.
I hope this post is helpful. Keep watching this space for interesting use cases.
