We are back with the latest updates from Zoho Invoice. Read on to know what's new this May.
Retail Premium Template
We've added a new template named Retail-Premium under the Retail category in templates. This template accommodates almost all the information that is available in other templates, in a compact design with a width of 3-4 inches. The Retail-Premium template is available for Estimates, Invoices, and Credit Notes.
Here are some additional details present in Retail-Premium, compared to the existing Retail-Standard template:
- Billing Address
- Shipping Address
- Some additional fields in the invoice details section
- Terms and Conditions
To view this template: Go to Settings > Templates > Select Estimates/Invoices/Credit Notes > Click + New > Choose Retail in the top bar > Hover over the Retail-Premium template and click Use This.
Record Payments While Creating Invoices
Received payment from your customer before issuing their invoice? Now you no longer have to create a draft invoice and record a payment for it later. You can instead mark the "I have received the payment" option while creating invoices, and a payment will be created for it automatically. The invoice will be created in the Paid status and the payment for it will be created with the Invoice Date.
Note: This option will be available only if your user role has the "Customer Payments" permission, and if Sales Approval is disabled.
To do this: Go to Invoices > Create an invoice and select the customer > Scroll down and mark the I have received the payment option.
Updates to the Zoho Invoice iOS App
- Supported British English for India and UK based organizations.
- Provided the Domestic Reverse Charge option for the UK edition.
- To comply with CBIC's new rule, we've provided the option to choose whether a 4-digit or 6-digit HSN code is to be mandated while creating transactions.
- You can now create a credit note without mentioning the corresponding invoice number, thereby delinking a credit note from an invoice.
