We know that nobody likes to remember passwords, yet they form an indispensable part of our lives. Many of us working with any kind of technology today manage numerous passwords for personal and business accounts. With the widespread adoption of remote work continuing to be the trend, the number of apps  and accounts we manage will likely  continue to grow. Password-based authentication brings convenience to the table, but also brings its share of challenges, as almost 80% of all breaches in the hacking category continue to be caused by stolen or brute-forced credentials. This is another reason why enterprises must focus on moving towards passwordless authentication, which Gartner calls one of the key security projects for 2021.
