Zoho Books integration - cancel invoice and create new one with corrected time entries

we have the following problem. Below I will briefly explain the scenario as an example. In ZOHO Desk, we use books integration to calculate time entries for tickets. If several tickets and numerous time entries are invoiced for a customer, i.e. a books invoice is created, the corresponding time entries are marked as "invoiced" and can no longer be edited. The invoice is then sent to the customer. Now, of course, it can happen that errors exist. Thus, the invoice must be cancelled and a new correct invoice must be created. However, this does not work in connection with Desk! If the time entries exist in an invoice, it is no longer possible to edit it. You should somehow be able to cancel the invoice and this should result in the time entries being released for processing again. Then the time entries could be corrected and an invoice could be created and sent again. The old invoice must NOT be deleted. It must remain available so that the data in books remains consistent and, above all, traceable - i.e. for legal reasons. Are there any possibilities?
