Zoho Invoice with Internet Explorer 8

I'm guessing it's something to do with latest interface updates (Ajax?) but performance of Zoho Invoice with Internet Explorer 8 is now dreadful. Sometimes we click on invoices and am waiting 15 seconds. Issue is on a couple of different PC's at different locations.

Google Chrome seems OK.
