Have you think about upgrade zoho web application by simply upgrade JQuery?
As I saw you are using JQuery for zoho web application.
JQuery is under strong development, and have a lot of developers and supporters - they are working hardly to improve and speed up it.
Wouldn't be a good idea to upgrade JQuery to 1.4.x version? It is more then 3 times faster then 1.3.1 - which is used in zoho application.
