Stock Function cannot reference another cell
This works =STOCK("GOOG","PRICE") But this doesn't (reference symbol from other column) =STOCK(B3,"PRICE") (B3 is the cell which has the string "GOOG") So its very hard to use the function generically (where symbol is in one column) ramganesh
Importing Excel 2007 files.
I can't seem to import Excel 2007 files because they have an extension .xlsx. I must go into excel and save it as and "Excel 97-2003" file. Is this just me or by design?

Stock Function in Sheets
When I use =STOCK("IBM")the function correctly gives me the last sale price. But if I substitute UUP for IBM I get an error reply. UUP is the symbol for Power Shares DB US $, which is a recently created Exchange Traded Fund. However your function works O.K. when I use the symbol for older, well established Exchange Traded Funds.Thanks. refr
No log-in editing
One feature that both Zoho and Google lack is a no log-in editing option. Sometimes, I want to make a spreadsheet that ANYONE can edit, even without a log on. That doesn't really serve your purposes -- as you want to add more "users", but sometimes I want that more wiki-like functionality without forcing everyone to join Zoho (or Google or whomever). I noticed that Zoho does have a no logon option on its Wiki service. Any chance that would be added to spreadsheets? Thanks. Jimbo (SpinCycle) spincycle

Publishing individual pivot table
Hi, I am new to Zoho and have a problem. If I publish my document, I always get a code that publishes the whole document including the Datasheet and all pivots I created. Is it possible to link only to a certain pivot table? If thus how? If this is not possible, is there a way how I can open a specific sheet when linking to my document? Thus far it always seems to open with the last sheet I created... Thx Fox

I may be missing something, but I cannot seem to enter a formula with a cell reference using the Excel method. Must the cell reference be manually typed every time? If so, please change. If not, please explain how. esaeo1
Zoho sheet slow and crashes too often
Every now and then I get an internal server error and it tells me to shut down the sheet and reopen and check again.. Once is okay, twice... well, can live with it.. but, 5 times in the course of a 20 line spreadsheet????

I shared a sheet with several people, and gave them full access. One person has no problems at all, an other person's data are not retained (i.e. not saved), and a third keeps getting the abovementioned errorcode when trying to insert rows. Hi, I would like the default date format to dd/mm/yyyy when creating new spreadsheets and to also be used in any spreadsheet I upload. It seems that my account preferences and locale information does not come across when I create a new spreadsheet or upload a spreadsheet. Could someone please advise as to how this can be done. Linked formulas keep getting messed up
I have a sheet with multiple sub-sheets that periodically polls tables in creator. The results are used to develop a table showing progress against budget. However, I have the following problems. 1. All the sub sheets are supposed to load into A3 but I have now found that the update in several sheets now loads into A2. This seems to occur when the creator table is empty (table is set to pick up data from a single day and if no data is available the creator table is empty. 2. Where the table is empty
inline charting with 2 Y axis would be very useful -
Suggestions : 1) I found such chart with 2 Y axis useful (line charts ), especially now that automatic scaling takes place on the Y axis. 2) For inline charts, customizing the X values to include the actual X values is needed. Right now, the only values found on the X scale are 1,2, 3,4, etc. Thanks for considering these suggestions. Michel

permalinks from creator 3 NOT working
Dear Sheet I have 2 problems with permalinks, 1. When I set the cell to update from creator to A3, I find that if the creator table is empty then the cell changes to A2 to update. This should not happen. 2. The permalinks from creator no longer seem to be working correctly. As they now load the following scrip instead of the data. Zoho Sheet is dead slow
Hello, This is the zoho sheet 'ProgressWeeklyReport-OSTeam' I'm referring to. We are an HR outsourcing company thus we have a lot of records and database. If you can rectify why the Zoho sheet is so 'SLOW' at the earliest, we would like to have our 'Project Management', CRM and all our activities on ZOHO itself. I tried through Firefox and Google chrome. Through Firefox, Zoho Sheet is still slow. Google chrome really does well when it comes to speedy browsing. Its in our best interest to stay away
Problem fetching new mail
I have setup POP access to my Yahoo Mail account and have successfully downloaded most of my messages. However, Zoho mail hasn't collected any of my messages from the last month - instead it just displays 'No new mail messages' whenever I click on 'Fetch'. Any ideas? Thanks

SERIOUS SERVER PROBLEM - ALL WORK LOST!!!
For the last week i have been using Zoho Sheet through Projects and every SINGLE day this error has popped up meaning that there is no way back and no way for me or my colleagues to save the material. THIS IS A DISASTER!!!!!! WE LOST HALF A DAYS WORK ON FRIDAY!!! I'm using the latest version of Firefox 3.0.1 and it has been happening on seperate machines running XP and two other machines running Vista. What's the story?

Fabulous product! I am running IE 7. When I open Sheet, the cell font is Arial 10 but the row/column header font is Arial 12. This causes the row headers to misalign with the rows in my sheet. It would be great if either 1) I could change the default font type and size myself or 2) you guys changed the row/column headers cell to resize correctly. How can i achieve a single spacing for each word. I've tried using this code expr1 = Replace(expr1, " ", " ") .Though, it redues the spacing but it's not single spacing of each word. Why is this so?? :)
