Moving to app-specific authentication for Google integrations

Hello everyone,

We’re making an important change to how Google integrations work in our platform. Until now, we used a common Google project across Zoho to enable integrations like Google Drive, Calendar, and more. Going forward, we’ll be moving to an app-specific authentication for Zoho Connect.

Why this change?

  • Each app will have its own authentication, reducing dependency on a shared project.
  • From here on, any change in the common project won’t impact your Connect app’s Google integrations.

To ensure uninterrupted access, re-authenticate your Google integration before December 31, 2025. After this date, existing configurations will stop working.
We’ll guide you through the re-authentication process step by step when you access your integrations.
