Qualified Electronic Signatures (QES) now made easy with Zoho Sign

Hello!

A Qualified Electronic Signature is an advanced electronic signature that has highest level of compliance according to electronic Identification, Authentication, and trust Services(eIDAS). It involves face-to-face identity verification of the signatory and a qualified digital certificate issued by Trust Service Provider (TSP).

We already offer qualified electronic signatures by partnering with Uanataca, a trust service provider to allow Zoho Sign users to sign documents through qualified electronic signature.

Today, we're elated to announce Zoho Sign's integration with eID Easy, a company that offers authentication and advanced signing methods for the EU eIDAS framework. This new partnership with eID Easy will give option for end users to sign document through eIDAS compliant qualified signatures without requiring the need to register and get a qualified certificate themselves.

Key benefits:
  • Legally equivalent to signing documents with pen and paper
  • Complies with EU regulation 910/2014, known as electronic Identification, Authentication, and trust Services (eIDAS)
  • Documents signed with QES carry an embedded timestamp
