How to use XML response from Creator form submit
I have created an HTML view in Zoho Creator that posts data to a creator form. I did this because I don't want all the form field to be displayed to the form user. My form submits perfectly. However the xml response that comes from the form submit gets returned as a downloaded file and I want to use the <status> element to provide feedback to the user of the form. How do I consume the response data since I cannot use javascript or php in a Zoho Creator HTML form?
Text field in forms turns numeric in mail
Hi I have made two forms one with at text field (name) and the other one with a lookup (name). When i put it in a mail - on success send mail to - it turns numeric - see below. Displaying a Page within an iframe without the Zoho Header
I have created a page (Page 1) which I wish to display within an iframe another page (Page 2). I can do this with the OpenURL function, but I can't figure out how to display just the content of the page, and not the full page including the Zoho URL. How do I construct the right URL to use in OpenURL? I can find the guidance that explains how to use parameters in the URLs for Forms and Views to configure how THEY get displayed, but I can't see the equivalent for Pages. Thanks for your help. Alex

Problem with a lookup field
I have a form (A) in which I incorporate a lookup field to form(B) //for client names - string field The name retrieves ok and displays ("ABC Ltd") which is what I want. Later, I wish to test that the field is actually "ABC Ltd" to then show/hide other fields. Creator specifies a lookup as type "long" and I can't then test as it will return a numeric such as 720050000. IS there any way to handle this? Thanks Greg
Can Zoho CRM Pulse and Audit Log Records be Called in Zoho Creator?
If I set up a creator form record pulling info from a CRM module, is it possible to get pulse and audit log data?
Configuration of the Maxchars on a single-line field.
The increment/decrement on the max chars field configuration allows a max value of 999 while any value is accepted if the user types into the field. Also, the maximum characters that can be used in a form (according to the known limitations document) is 80 fields of 255 chars each or equivalent. There is no validation while the developer is configuring the fields but for the run-time error that is hard to debug. Can not a validation be added when the fields are configured rather than at run-time?
Login to my site opens new tab
Added views and forms in iframes on my site, but when the login is done by users instead of opening the form or view in the same window is open a new tab. How do I remove this behavior? Must remain after login on the same page. Regards Alexandre Bacil

Real time screen updates
Is it possible to show a time counter decreasing in real-time eg an auction period decreasing from a start date that was set to run for a specified time. Example Auction start date 15 Sept 2013 time 9:00am Auction end date 2 Sept 2013 5pm When view item you see days, hrs seconds decreasing in real time. This element is stored and is treated as a variable that can be called referenced in the application. Thanks for your guidance
CRM with RSS reader
Hey guys, I'd like to find a way using either Zoho CRM or Zoho Creator to view an RSS feed and add the authors of news articles to a CRM-style list of contacts. I'm happy to spend time building this with Zoho Creator. But before I get started is there an RSS reader in Zoho creator or will I be beating my head against a wall? Also, is it possible to do this with an add-on or extension for the existing Zoho CRM? Many thanks!
Using zoho.loginuser in view does not work with API
I have a view that shows 16 records in it, 1 added by another user and 15 added by me. I have a view that limits what is shown by zoho.loginuser criteria, this is done in the view definition. If I embed the view in an HTML file and look at it locally the widget shows the correct number of rows depending on who is logged in, however if I retrieve data using an API call (to export the data). How can I integrate a Creator app with Zoho CRM?
I'm working on an application with approximately 10 forms. So, I can't link them all to the Contact module as I would like as it limits you to 3 Related Lists. Formulas not appearing in reports
I have created a simple invisible formula in a form First_Name + " " + Last_Name When I output this in a report it is blank even though the first and last names are populates Any ideas ? Thanks

I can't find the documentation that compares features across editions. And I would expect that re-branding is available on Express plans what with them being paid accounts. Varun.
Setting a start page
I have created a form (called: login) for my users that logs what day and time they check into the app. When they press submit they are then directed to a dashboard page that shows all of the links to the various forms and reports in the app. Is there a way that I can force that login form to always be the first page they are taken to when they login? Currently I am finding they are redirected to the last page they left off on when they were using the app. Thanks, Aaron
Setting date field to null
I've checked various forum posts about this, but not found a definite answer... How do you set a date field to null? I've tried datefield = null.toDate(); as suggested in one post, but that doesn't work in the new Builder. Thanks Alex

Is there a way to detect the developers email address? Under certain conditions I want to email the application developer. This may be the application owner but maybe not. It would be nice to have a Zoho variable zoho.developeruserid.
auto increment not working
I have an application with a master form and two linked sub-forms, one of which is for support tickets. I would like to have Zoho automatically assign a unique ID number for each ticket when it is entered. Recommended size of screenshot in publishing app to marketplace is too small...
When you add screenshot to your app you are going to publish, you will see this “165 x 145 px, optional”. The 165 x 145 px, is to small. It is just like a 2 x 2 ID picture and useless to present the highlight of the app pages. Putting optional mislead developers, other had attached images bigger than the snapshot viewer and still useless to present the highlight of the app pages. I recommend changing it to 640 x 480 pixels, it is equivalent to web image-large, enough to fit the snapshot viewer...
Cannot find "Duplicate this View" in the new design interface.
I cannot find the "Duplicate this view" option in the new interface of Creator. In the old version, it was found in "Edit this application" -> More Actions -> Duplicate this View. I cannot seem to find how to duplicate an existing view in the new design. Please help.
created a new view from a view, but it shows in the Forms tab
I was displaying a view and created a new one, but it turned up in the Forms tab along with all the forms I have. I suppose it should have turned up in the Views tab. Can anyone help ? Thanks

how to move cursor after Alert message is displayed
I thought, after an Alert message was displayed, that the cursor would stay in the field associated with the Alert. However, it doesn´t seem to go anywhere. My question is: Is it possible to control the cursor´s position on the screen on a form ? Thanks

Ok I have one app my employees work out of . They have a punch clock that they use to punch in and out of daily inside this app . I create a report daily showing the number of hours they worked . Time clock is based on "zoho.loginuserid" which is stored in All Employees View - Each employee add records daily to a different application - every time they add a new record there name is added via of lookup field related to same lookup as the time clock - I would like to create a single report that combines

Hello, I would like to fetch records from a separate application. Here is an example: ApplicationA: "Form1" has fields: Name1, Email1, Department1 ApplicationB: "Form2" has fields: Name2 and Email2 --> Name2 is my lookup field. --> When I lookup a name, I want Email2 to automatically populate from Application A field Email1. Simulate "Convert" option
Greetings, zoho experts, I had automated the "convert to account, contact" option in zoho crm, because i am copying the information in two additional custom modules. The thing is i want to simulate all the actions in the convert button. I am talking about the "convert" button in the Leads module. When you click it it convert it to account and contact but also the lead module is disabled. How can i disabled the Lead module after I had copied the information? It's Urgent please help me! Data Re-populate on another Form
I am new to deluge script and conditional statements as a whole. I am getting there but seem to be hung up a bit. (I have been working on this for 4+ hours) I want to populate the "client" data from Form_A into Form_B. I have set the "look up field as Client First Name, Client Last Name, Client Middle Initial." (as it relates to Form_A) Once selected I want address, services, and other data from Form_A to be pulled into Form_B. So I am attempting to build this with the scripting portion of Creator.
