transform a text field into numeric for filtering in a report
hello I have a text field that contains figures. I want to filter in report based on those figures like > or < . How could I do to transform into a "numeric' just for the filter in a report ?thanks nono

We help people buy and sell businesses. 1) Our Leads, become Potentials, become Accounts; in our nomenclature -- Leads, Prospects, Listings. I've customized the nomenclature, but it is not clear to me how I cleanly differentiate and migrate a Potential to an Account. Zoho CRM having increasing amount of BUGS
All the recent changes and feature additions to Zoho are great. However what I'm finding is that there is an increasing amount of BUGS that are popping up. I've reported 5 in the last week with several others in the last month. What's annoying is bugs are causing existing workflows to break and it takes a while to convince support that it exists! Enabling to modify the text displayed when events are notified to contacts
It would be very important to be able to set the preferences for what is displayed in the notification email to participants of an event (in particular contacts). here it would be useful if in the set-up section, in the event options, a user would be able to determine which fields are displayed in the notification e-mail (i.e. potential name, some custom field and so on). best, mattia
Insert today's date in webform CRM field
I am creating a Zoho CRM webform for my website that creates a Lead. I'd like to have a Date field named "requested download" and have that hidden and auto-fill with today's date. Something sort of like https://help.zoho.com/portal/en/community/topic/default-entry-of-today%27s-date%3f . Is there a code I can insert in the default value to do so?
Why aren't all my templates showing?
I created several templates for emails I send frequently for customer service purposes but only a handful show up. I had to categorize some as Task rather than Contacts or Leads. Can I not use those as email templates?
Report Grouping
How can I group a report by month based on a date field in the records? The grouping option in reports for a date field only appears to group by that specific day. Not able to group by year, quarter, month, or week, based on a date field?
Suggestions for data migration from old CRM
Looking for recommendations on exporting data from old CRM. The export function in previous CRM leaves out a lot of data that is needed. It only allows for client name address date of birth.. No notes no payment history. Any suggestions on migrating the rest of the data?
Unable to connect to messaging server - cannot send through Zoho CRM
I am currently getting the following message when I try and send emails from the Zoho CRM: "Sorry, we are unable to process your request. Please try again later. For assistance, contact us at Zoho." Also, at the footer, we are getting messages like "Unable to connect to messaging server.Connecting in 3:21Try Now" Is there a known issue at the moment? I've checked the email settings - it was working yesterday and it seems to have stopped today. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks / Stephanie
WebTab passing param
Hi, We're using your WebTab feature to embed our application in Zoho CRM. I have create custom button in deal page passing param and open webview. Is it possible for the WebTabs to append parameter to the link URL? For example something like the following would be perfect: -web view url http://test.com - The user creates a web tab that links to: http://test.com?dealId=$zoho_dealId - When the user clicks the tab the URL is called, except the $zoho_userid part is replaced with the deal ID. Removed Potentials - need to get them back
So I was cleaning up old potentials off the list and deleting them, I know the account info and contacts do not get deleted but some that I needed to keep were removed and now I need them back. Where is the ability to restore these potentials out of the trash like in MS Office applications?

How do I import/update accounts but not the name?
I'm trying to move thousands of accounts from Salesforce into Zoho, but because the SF file is so massive I have to do it in phases. What I did first was import 2 million accounts with the Name, DUNS (custom unique field), address, owner, and Salesforce Record ID (custom unique field). That all worked, but now I need to add more details, so the Salesforce Record ID is the primary key, so my new report only has that, plus 10 other custom fields. However I can't import it as it says Account Name

events and google sync
So after seeking advice we are experimenting with multipe users and google sync to make our diary clearer. The problem at the moment is that only one user and we set up one way google sync crm to google and the results are that not all events are shown in google. i cannot see a logical reason at present. I have shown some images to explain better.

Hi, I am using ZoHo and evaluating long term use but struggeling with the Email Sync. I can only connect one e-mail address to Zoho using G-Mail IMAP but would require to synchronise more inboxes, next to my personal email adress I also need to fetch generic email addresses like sales@.... How can I set up more Gmail accounts to be synchronized to ZoHo CRM?
Disable certain Related Lists in Setup?
How can we disable certain related lists from setup? For example, we do not need Products, Quotes, Account opening docs lists in the Contacts module. I'm unable to remove this in setup. Your help is appreciated. Thanks, Saranya

Possible to have One Shared Calendar within Zoho... e.g.: To book a meeting room?
Is it possible to have a shared calendar within Zoho without adding another user? Scenario Different users want to book a meeting room. They currently can only add to their own calendars. It makes sense to have one shared calendar so users can book the room and not have two meetings booked at same time. I'm aware that this can be done with gApps which is the workflow we use. It would be great if this is possible within Zoho as we could then push link the potential and pull in all the details automatically.

Edited Standard view modules not appearing in Mobile App

It seems impossible to include Account Name in a report with Contacts and Campaigns!
I have setup a campaign in Zoho CRM and added contacts to it, that we will target. After modifying a field against each contact in the campaign, I now want to create a report to show Account Name, Contact details and status of the campaign field. But Zoho will only let me create a report with Account and Contacts or Campaigns and Contacts but not Accounts, Contacts and Campaign fields. How do I create a report that includes the Account Name as well as Contacts details in a Campaign Report??? Best

User cannot see emails
My boss has had an ongoing issue for several years now where he cannot view other users emails sent from CRM. He is set up as a Sales Manager and an Administrator. Please better scheduling
My usual request. As a service company with engineers on the road the office staff organise the appointments. It would be so great if the calendar was colour coded to make appointment type easier. Yes I know that we keep asking and the stock response is no plan and to use multiple accounts for different people. Does anybody have a better plan to aid appointment scheduling.
Scheduling Prospect Calls - Daily Call List?
Hello, I've searched the help section and forum and can't seem to find the answer. How do you schedule multiple prospecting calls and have them show up on a report (tomorrow's calls, this weeks calls, etc.)? I've added a new task under the lead but it doesn't show up as a call when I look at the report. I've change the report view to "tomorrow" but the call isn't listed. In the end I want to view a daily list of prospecting calls. Thanks! Lyle
AWFUL TECH SUPPORT!!!!!!!!!
I am having issues with the potentials module and field "stage" record not displaying the correct value, it is instead displaying a random number..... ie - 179798000028876089 etc. I contacted live chat who after explaining over and over iv tested to confirm its not a browser or user issue gave me a screen share. Nevin then tried to fix the issue by testing the issues on many different records within the live CRM!!!! all now with stage values that are not linked to any view and could be lost....
Administrator acount standard version and remaining free version
My organization is small, 5 sale and I'm a manager. I want upgrade my acount to standard version to make report and using Maine more feature But my sale is not necessary . So upgrade only my acount is possible ? And my sale still login and using free version! I think it is possible because Zoho CRM flexible for every business model
Contact Module - Simple Name Search made a complex clumsy time waster
Who agrees with me that one of the main things that people want to do in the contacts module is search for someone? And that a 'someone' is a person (a human being) And that a person has a first and last name. So would it come as no surprise that perhaps one of the most common used feature is to search by first and last name????? So if I want to search for one of my contacts called John Citizen Previously I would just search "John C" in the contact name filter that was on top and it would display.
Add link to emails that are in timeline view
Suggest adding links to an email that is shown in the timeline view for a Contact or Lead. This would be helpful to quickly access the email to see its content. A second suggestion would be to have a preview window open when hovering over an item that is shown in the timeline view. The preview window could be clicked to open the record if desired.
