Creating document in Zoho people specifically for an employee
I need someone to let me know if this is possible (or will it be?)? I have specific files & forms that need to be created for employees. I would like to have them uploaded all to zoho people in the files folder and to be able to select the employee i need, have it fill out the information from that employee's profile, maybe add some things of my own onto the file, and then send it to them. Is there anyway to change the monthly time entry view to include or be changed to client names instead of task name
In Time Logs > Calendar View > Month you only see task/job names. It's more important to show the client name. Is there a way to change this? Often our projects have a "Genera" task/job. The attached screen shot shows how this looks.
Training Form
Hello, I am trying to address training courses to multiple users. In Training Form there is a system field, type Lookup, named "owner" that give a single-select choice. I tried to create a new lookup field with multiple-select choice, and set it as primary, but the training course is still addressed to the owner. How we can create a single training form and have multiple employee as participants, so we can find this course inside their training tab in profile? Thank you in advance Marco
Cancelled leave days not deducted from the total amount of taken vacation leave days
Hi, After I canceled my vacation leave , I would expect these days to be added again to the "taken" amount under Vacation Leave? This is currently not the case.. Eg: (1) Total amount (available) days of vacation leave = 25 days (2) Requested 5 days in January -> approved -> (available) days of vacation leave = 20 days (3) Requested 10 days in May -> approved -> (available) days of vacation leave = 10 days (4) Canceled the approved May leave request -> would expect (available) days of vacation leave
LMS Issues and Questions
Please see screenshot below. Why does LMS insist 8 out of 13 are completed when they are only 8 to be completed? I do realize the course can still be marked completed using the 3 dots. Also, is LMS in any way integrated with the Training module? It seems to me that someone doing a course in LMS is taking a form of training :-). I would like to have all of an employees training listed in one place, not two separate places. Thanks!

Webhook authentication header
Hi, We are trying to add a webhook to integrate one of our external services. The external service restAPI requires an authentication header. In the custom parameter section there is no parameter type selection. As far as we could understand it is using the defauly "Query" type. How to add formula field or create custom action for particular criteria
Dear Team, We have "Complaint submit Date" Date field and "complaint priority" Drop down field (High,Medium,Low) Now we want to create "DueDate" Date field with some function or formula. if we select "Complaint priority" filed is "High" then "DueDate" field will update with "Complaint submit Date" + 60 days. Example: "Complaint submit Date = 7th-April-2020" and "complaint priority" = "high" then "DueDate" = 6th-June-2020 Please suggest the steps to create the field as per above criteria. Thank you
Access denied running webhook
Hi, I'm trying out Zoho People (free 10 user license) and want to see how webhooks work. I have a webhook that does a POST to a URL on my side when the employee form is changed. I'm editing the employee as the Admin user. The HTTP POST is never done, I can't see anything on my side where the HTTP server is running. LMS Boot up time
I understand when we upload a pdf in the LMS the boot up time is minimal. But when we upload a pptx in the LMS the boot up time can be minutes. Is there an update coming soon to fix this?

Permission denied when try to fetch records from zoho people
I am trying to fetch records from zoho people API .. For this i am using POSTMAn. Send Mail Merge to External Payroll
Hi, This must be simple enough. i have a MailMerge Template and I can email the Merge to any field in the Employee Form (Email_ID etc) However I want to email the Employee details to an external payroll email. How can I achieve this? I know I can CC them in the merge but I would still wind up have the email-to: field set as Email_ID or his hiring manager or one of the other email fields within in the form. Any way to just enter the email-to: field manually? Do I need to add the payroll email to
Notifications in People Plus
When are you going to update the options for notifications? It's been 3 years since you said you were looking into this and still nothing. The current setup is useless. Every notification someone receives is there forever!! For employees it isn't as big a deal but for managers who get a lot, it's hard to manage. There's no way to tell if you performed the task that the notification relates to because if you look at it, it marks it as read. We've only been using People actively since January of
Shifts and Schedule on ZOHO PEOPLE
Hello, I am having trouble associating the correct shift and schedule to my employees. Most of them have two different schedules, some even a third. Though, Zoho People only allows me to add the shift based on a date (MM/dd/YY), which becomes a problem since from what I just said. Is there any way to add them based on a day of the week, instead of date? (ie. Monday to Wednesday 09:00 - 17:00 / Thursday and Friday 07:00 to 14:00)

How to get a "analysis" leave report
I thought my question was easy to answer, but I simply don't get it working. All I want to have is a report, that I can print, where in one column is the name of the employee and in the other the number of leave days. I want to use the new analysis tool for that. Is there anybody who can help me?
Escalate timesheet or leave approvals if the first approver is not available within a certain period
hi Is there a way to escalate leave or timesheet approval if the reporting to is not available? Its not the same as Delegation. For example, a employee submits timesheet that needs to be approved within 5 hours. If 5 hours lapses, can it be cascaded to another person for approval? * Also when the reporting to doesnt approve, can a email notification be sent to a user above the reporting to level?? Casper

I'm having a problem with Zoho People emails (time off requests, etc) going to our Junk Mail. + include mail.zohopeople.com Pass I have an SPF record setup saying to include mail.zohopeople.com but they are still going to Junk mail. Need leave approvals to go to someone other than reporting to/department
Our top two exec approve each others leave requests and Zoho will not allow me to mark them as reporting to each other. I tried creating a new automation/approval, choosing the specific employee number to submit and approve request. But It's not routing the leave requests to that person, there are still going to the Reporting two managers. How can I handle two people who approve each others leave?

Restricting permissions to records based on reporting structure
I've found the Appraisal functionality to be a bit confusing and overkill for what we're trying to do - so I created three separate forms to try to capture a Self Appraisal, 360 Feedback (from any other team member) and a Manager Appraisal. The Self Appraisal and Manager Appraisal permissions will work fine as i can limit the visiblity to Subordinates and My Data to control who can see which records. However, for the 360 Feedback, a person from outside of a Manager's team will be providing feedback
Assigning weights in Performance Management
Hello, We have assigned weights against each KPI in the Performance tab. We are facing issues with validating the weights. For example, the product doesn't check if all the weights add up to a 100. (Since the weights are percentage fields, it should be able to.) Secondly, we are not able to limit the range of the weights for each individual KPI. We were hoping to assign weights in the 10-30% range only. If the community has been able to find a workaround these issues, please let us know. Any help
zoho people - time tracking
Hello, I see that in Zoho People, user can time track on an hour basis, it it possible to change that granularity ? In my company , people track their time on half day basis. Basically I would like to have 0.5 day as min time unit. How can I change that? thanks for your feedback Etienne
