Client permissions
I need to invite my clients to view the progress of projects, see the taks and Gannt View of the project schedules, etc, as well as to access the Wiki function. This does not seem to be possible with ZOHO Projects. Client Users have too limited function. Can you please advise how it is possible for client users see such imprtant info? Regards Stel
Corporate email blocking incoming ZOHO e-mail Notification
ZOHO project has e-mail notification when entries or changes are made. The ONLY e-mails that are successfully received are the ones sent to third party addresses like hotmail or Yahoo. Our corporate IT dept suggests that the problem lies with ZOHO sending the e-mails with OUR domain name as a source as opposed to Zoho.com. Our firewall is interpreting these e-mails as a "spoof" attempt. Is there a way to configure the notifications to show that they are coming from ZOHO instead of from our intranet?
Calendar Sync with CRM
are you going to unify the calendar within all ZOHO services? I am starting to use Project and would like the calendar entries to appear in my CRM. Any comments on uniting all these services?

Is there a way to do concurrent tasks in project? If not, when will that feature be added?
Task Dependancies in Project Templates
There are some things in zoho project that really bother me. One is not being able to make task dependencies. This MUST be fixed or their has to be a solution to this. If i have a project that has 200 tasks and they have dependencies what is my solution? Am I to rewrite this same project every time?? I'd like this in my project template. Please fix this!!! Additionally, we should be able to upload a mpp as a project template. -chris

Syncing with Google tasks
The "export to Google tasks" link isn't appearing at all in the My Tasks screen (I've checked for it where Help says it should be - on the right, below the filtering options - and hunted for it elsewhere on the screen). I've gone into "Manage This Domain" and confirmed data access is granted. What else can I try?

Tip 1 : Use Task Templates & Save Time
Use the Task List Template feature to add task lists and reuse them in different projects. Click the "Settings" link on top right corner, Under Templates tab start adding "Task List Templates" and Save Time by reusing it instead of duplicating it every time. Vijay
Not able to change/specify predecessor...
We checked the dates are not conflicting. Still we are unable to specify the predecessor of the task. We enter the value in the field, the value does appear but it does not get saved. When we click on another task, the value gets disappeared. Please advise.
Need a project timeline auto-generate feature
A really useful feature would be to allow users to create a "template" project timeline for projects that have similar tasks, milestones, and schedules. All the user would have to do is assign a date to the "master" or "key" milestone in the project. Once that is done, all other milestones, task lists, and tasks should be automatically generated and assigned to a date based on how long before or after the "master milestone" the milestone or task needs to occur. brockrwood

Hi this question has been answered here in 2007 but the answer doesn't seem to apply now. I have created a project and users, including a client user. The client has been emailed with all login details but after logging in they're told that no project has been assigned to them. Can you help please? Thanks

See just my projects as an admin?
I am an admin user. On all the "my" tabs in projects I just see my items (tasks, milestones, etc.) but on my projects I see all projects and don't seem to have a way to filter. So I am an admin but I also use project for my own projects. Problem is I have a huge list under "My Projects" because I see every project rather than just mine. Tasks show up one day late in Google Calendar
Every task I create in Zoho Projects shows up one day late in Google Calendar. Timezone in both Google Calendar and Zoho Projects are set to GMT +1, which is my timezone. I've seen a bunch of discussions about this problem, but I can't find any working solution posted. Please help me, this is an absolute deal breaker.
Deleting/Moving more than one task simultenously
Presently we can move/delete either one task or entire task list. We should be able to do this for selected tasks.
Search within a Project
Hi, It would be nice if I could search for things inside my project - by word, by user, by date. For instance - maybe I want to see everything that was done by everyone on February 2, 2007. And the results I'd see would be live links so I could easily look deeper into an item that is returned in the search. Maybe I want to see all tasks, or milestones, or posts, that have something to do with Google api integration. (I just made that up for the example.) I'd like to be able to do searches like these

Is there a feature where we can view all project milestones in one document? We have 20 different projects running at once. Therefore, it is important for us to see a calendar with all project milestones in one place.
Time for flash Message while closing the task
When we try to close the task with some dependency, it does not close and flash some message. This message is coming for such a small duration that even before read the message it goes away.

In Zoho Projects, as a part of "Email Collaboration" there is an option to upload files to a project via email, and the files will be uploaded to "Discussions" folder in that project, by default. Option to upload files via email is available at the footer section of the Documents Tab. Now, you can upload the files to the folder you desired too. Its simple. Go to Documents Tab, click on the folder & you will see an unique email id for that folder at the bottom of the page, send the files to that email
bi-weekly/Quarterly Option for Recurring Task
There are very limited options for recurring tasks. There must be Bi-weekly and Quarterly Options available... It can be very useful and without which the very purpose of recurrence is not being fulfilled completely.
Resource Allocation - Suggestions
Resource allocation should show all tasks grouped by projects. There are colour codes for Over-allocated and Optimally allocated. But there should be colour code for Under-allocated also...
Multiple Companies
I have some projects I'm working on with a few partners and I would like to bring those projects over to Zoho. However, some projects are associated with one organization and some are separated into others. Is there a way that I can create multiple companies or some logical separation so that I can keep associated partners w/ their projects together and others separate?

Restricted access to Projects
Currently anyone listed as an Administrator is able to see and access all Projects. We have at least 5 people listed as an Admin. Is it possible to restrict access to a Project so only specific people can see the projects regardless of Admin status?

Is there any way to change the order of task lists? It seems very un-intuitive not to be able to change the order of the task lists.
Gantt view - sorting
Is there a way to sort the gantt view. In the task view I can sort the tasks. Well I can have only one hierarchy level but that I can work. But than you can resort the task list. The gantt view is totally unsorted. The task comes in like I created them and not like the task they are grouped together. If you have dependency from one task to the next than they often are likened over a lot of lines and all the nice over view is totally lost. For me the Gantt view I can't use at all. I don't know

Edit Start/End Dates directly from My Tasks/Task List
I'd like to be able to Edit Start/End Dates directly from My Tasks/Task List page, without having to drill-down and Edit the task, and then first re-generate the My Tasks/Task List with date filters. It's not a big deal when you're just editing the Start/End Date on one single task. But on Monday morning, I'm usually adjusting Start/End Dates on 30-40 tasks. This simple feature would save me 15-20 minutes/week EVERY week. Let's face it...in 2012, who really has the luxury of not being a multi-tasker

The Gantt chart view options in terms of period only gives you an option for month, year, etc... I need to look at my project that starts in november this year and ends in march next year... how do I do this? Able to thread forum topics & responses in email?
We just signed up for Zoho Projects, but it seems like our organization will have to cancel our subscription. When someone responds to a Forum post, it creates a new thread in Gmail (our Zoho is connected to Google Apps) rather than being in one thread like in Basecamp. I assume this is because each response is shown as from: the person who wrote the response...so is there a way that I can change the settings so that every topic has its own thread? The whole point of switching to Zoho was to REDUCE
Task synch with all users of Google apps?
My boss upgraded to Zoho premium and we have integrated zoho projects with Google Apps. As a user I can't see how to synch my zoho tasks with google. Under his log in it works. Do all the users on the company domain get the feature of synching with Google Tasks? cheers justine
