Hello everyone,
We're excited to introduce signer groups, a feature designed to make your signing process quicker, more efficient, and collaborative.
With signer groups, you can send an envelope to a group of people, and any member of the group can open the envelope and sign the document. This allows individuals to sign on behalf of a group of authorized signatories, making it perfect for team-based workflows.
When do signer groups come in handy?
Imagine you're working on an important contract that requires approval from your legal team. You send the document to John, who usually signs off on these documents, but he's unavailable due to a sudden meeting. This is where signer groups come in handy, allowing any of the other members of the legal team working in the same capacity as John to step in and sign the document on behalf of the team. This keeps the signing process moving without delays, speeding up collaboration and decision-making.
Quick overview of how signer groups work
Create a signer group: Administrators can create a group from the
Account Settings menu by adding a group name, the recipients, and details. You can also include recipients' phone numbers for envelope delivery via SMS and OTP-based authentication.

Send documents to a group: Simply select the group when adding recipients to your documents. You can also add extra recipients before sending the documents for signing.
Track group signatures: Easily track the status of documents sent to a signer group by checking under
In Progress or
Completed in the
Documents tab. Click on the signer group to see who received the documents and who signed, and the signer information and group will also appear in the completion certificate.
