Tips and tricks #53: Four Zoho Show add-ons to help you create quality content in your slide decks
Hi All!
In order to improve the efficiency of our web application and enhance your user experience, we have integrated Show with select third-party tools. These add-ons are available for free from the the Add-On Store which can be accessed the toolbar at the top of the Show interface.
You can install third-party tools from the store in the bottom-left corner of the Add-Ons window.
Draw the audience's attention using high quality Unsplash images in your presentation
You can use Unsplash under Media to add high resolution pictures taken by the world's best photographers to your slide deck. These royalty-free images support your content visually, helping the audience understand and retain information. You can also use them as a slide background.
You can use the Search option in the Unsplash window to look for relevant images to add to your slides without having to download them anywhere else on the internet. This saves you time and effort when creating presentations.
Simplify your message using YouTube videos in a presentation
Let's say you have a section about customer stories in your presentation and want to include a few related videos from your YouTube account. You can sign in to your account using the YouTube option under Add-Ons and search for the videos you need in the Home section.
You can also include videos explaining complex workflows in your slide deck to help the audience visualize the concept and understand your message.
You can customize these video clips using the options in the right pane and choose to play them automatically or in a loop.
Present project updates and help your team track their performance using Sprints Cards
You may sometimes want to generate a detailed project report about a specific sprint, epic, or release in your presentation. The good news is Zoho Show has integrated with Zoho Sprints, so you can now use Sprints Cards under Add-Ons to display graphs, tables, and key performance indicators on your slides and present data in a more meaningful manner. For example, you can use a Project Details Card to highlight the different parameters of a project.
Personify your brand using Humaaan illustrations on your slides
With Humaaan Illustrations under Add-Ons, you can add colorful human figures and personal touches to your slide deck, helping the audience connect with your message. For example, you can use the "Running girl" illustration when talking about physical education or a picture of a doctor for a presentation related to healthcare. This helps you create a lasting impact and keep the audience engaged during your presentation.
You can also add speech bubbles to these illustrations on a slide to create a conversation. You can also customize the figures using the options on the right pane to match your brand identity.
