Zoho Inventory API - Create Sales Order
Is it possible to apply the price list while creating sales order? I send the price list id when creating the sales order. But the sales order is created with the price in the item not with the price in the price list.
Multiple variants for items
Be able to create variants for a certain device, for example, an Apple iPhone, there are carrier options, storage options and color options, being able to select "iPhone 7" and then have a drop down list of variants, or something like that.
Shopify sync not importing images / reverse Sync as need to update SKUs
I have done a Shopify snc with Zoho Inventory - but the images are not being imported. Any ideas? Is is possible to reverse the sync (remove all the items imported) - so I can amend my product SKUs before syncing again? Thanks

clients prepay and just in time inventory management
Hi All I'm trying to see how to best use this system for our business needs. Our client's prepay for their product and once we receive payment we begin working on their request. At that point we request the product from our agency but not as a drop ship and there is a custom form our agency needs to receive, not the system purchase order. we do not maintain inventory, this is more of a 'print on demand' situation. how can i utilize your system for this?
Composite items must be able to include non inventory items and services
Not all items that make up a composite item are inventory items. So we are back to square one. We can build half an item with no services included which is not an item we sell. Which manufacturers are producing products with no work associated with that assembly? How are people using the composite item feature without this? Do we create a composite item with bogus inventory services that we adjust every time to keep the books in line? What are the options that would allow us to use Zoho? This feature
Copy Shipping Address to Billing Address
When sales orders are automatically synced from a channel, the customer's address is imported as a shipping address. Is there a way to copy that shipping address to the billing address? It appears that there is only a one click function to copy the billing address to the shipping address.

eBay Endless "Sync In Progress" Status
Regarding the eBay integration, I'm finding unsuccessful sale syncs to be the recent norm. Sales orders will remain in an endless "sync in progress" status while items successfully sync. The sales are not in a completed status yet the sync still hasn't been productive whether automatically or manually initiated. The ability to add custom data fields for items is a good addition but when I tried to add a third "decimal" type field the following error was received: Almost there, but... Best way to create/modify our own Invoices/PO/Packing Slips?
We are at the point in our testing where we need do figure out how to make minor modifications to the Zoho templates that so that certain custom address fields and such show up appropriately. What is the best way for us to go about getting these customizations done? Do we mock it up in photoshop and send to you with markups of what fields we need where? We are attempting to move away from Microsoft Solomon after 12 years of using a highly customized version of it. So far we've been impressed

Integration with Zoho Reports
Does Zoho Inventory integrate with Zoho Reports for creating custom reports? It seems logically that there would be some way, but I've not seen how to do it as of yet.
Changing Item Group
How do you move an item from one group to another? When you edit an item there is no drop down menu to select a different group to put it in or create a new group on the fly. It appears that once an item is added to a group it's permanently attached to it. I can't imagine that's the case so the only way to "move" an item is to completely delete it from Inventory (and the wrong group) then re-enter it from scratch into the correct group.
Create a custom maketplace integration in Zoho Inventory
Our software allows Integrations to Online Marketplaces - Amazon, Etsy, eBay. Can I create a custom marketplace integration in Zoho Inventory, such as Dawanda or ArtFire and other such? Are there any the development tools?
Still receive email although I have deleted origination and closed account.
I have delete a origination at mail.zoho.com and close account at account.zoho.com with same email:nguyenquynhan18@gmail.com. But I still receive email daily from noreply@site24x7.com with title "Persistent Alert : askfoody_test is Down ... ";. askfoody_test is a monitor I have created previous time. I have closed my account but that still execute. Why? I don't want receive email DOWN or UP when I have close my account. Can you help me to resolve this issue? Thanks!
Editing a PO reverts the Deliver To address back to company default
Whenever I edit a Purchase Order all the fields remain proper except for the "Deliver To" field. It always changes back to the default even though I've purposefully picked a different address with "Change destination to deliver" feature when I first created the PO. This is a problem because it is very easy to forget that this (I presume it's a bug) happens and I often go in and edit a PO and forget that I have to again go and change the Delivery destination. Hopefully I've explained the problem,
Do APIs work with trial accounts?
We are currently in the process of evaluating Zoho Inventory and have run into a roadblock in getting the APIs to work. Do the APIs work with trial accounts? When trying to use the Create Sales Order apis we are getting a generic error that says "The JSON string is not well formed"
Does Zoho CRM contacts integrate with Zoho Books/Inventory in any way?
I was noticing that Zoho Books/Inventory seem very tightly and neatly integrated but I didn't see the same contacts in Zoho CRM show up. I was just curious if there is any integration between Zoho CRM and Zoho Books/Inventory?
Importing & Exporting Composite Items
Is there actually a way to Import or Export Composite Items via CSV/Excel sheets? Though the UI in the Composite items area sort of indicates that you can "Import Items" it doesn't seem to really work with composite items. When I create a Composite Item manually it gets a SKU and that Composite Item will get exported out just like any other item in the Items area but without any data related to what items the Composite Items consist of.

shopify link not working
the shopify link ink failed to import products from shopify and it has not imported anything at all since! the failed reason was 'invalid product type' however there are no specific product types as far as know. additionally my sales orders are not syncing and it failed with the reason 'Please enter a suitable VAT treatment.' however vat is enabled in shopify i cannot use zoho unless this link works properly. additionally we have soho books and both are extremely similar. what platform should we
Etsy integration of sales/receipts broken?
I activated the etsy integration and it successfully imports my current active listings, but it has an error for all current sales. The error indicates that the item given in the order does not exist (in Zoho, presumably). This is despite the successful import of that active item a few minutes earlier. It looks like Zoho tries to match on SKU, but I can't see what it Zoho thinks the SKU for the item in the sales order is. I did not have this issue with the Amazon integration.
Change/Add sales channel for an item
How do I change the channel for an item? Or add a channel to an existing item? I do not see a way of adding, for example, Amazon as a second channel for an item, or for creating a new item in Zoho and assigning it to a sales channel.
Groups and subgroups on inventory
Can you make subgroups of subgroups etc. Example below. Camera being a main with dome being one of several subs as is IP one of several subs of the dome. Then you get to the 3meg, 5meg and 10meg being the acutal items. We sell a lot of product. This comes in handy when you are doing a quote . An assembly is not quite the same because you are always using the same items to build a system. Camera Dome IP 3meg 5meg

Hi re inventory cannot find the info online. Looking at the way books is set out I see info in inventory that is not in books, for example SKU, is inventory designed to suppliment or replace invoicing in Books.
