Module geared more toward solopreneurs
I'd love to see Zoho roll out a projects module that's more for solopreneurs. I'm using Zoho Books now and would love to be able to move more of my applications under the Zoho umbrella. Unfortunately, Zoho CRM and Projects is just too unwieldy for me as a solopreneur. I'd love to see Zoho have something more like Dubsado or 17Hats. A key thing would be the ability to send emails / monitor email from within the app itself (as opposed to having to switch out to CRM). Zoho seems to be made for large

Is there a way to hide Task & Bugs Prefix IDs in Tasklists? More text to have to parse through on already longs lists isn't necessarily a good thing.

One Zoho Projects account, Two Zoho Books Accounts
Hi there, We are in the phase of transitioning from a proprietorship entity to a Private Limited entity. In this transition, we will need to keep both the accounts live since it is the middle of the financial year. However, the clients are not changing. Zoho Templates No Longer Working
Hi, We have access to 20 templates yet when I logged into Zoho today to create a new project (using an existing template), the template didn't duplicate the template tasks. Has the functionality changed? Also the predecessor/successor tasks can no longer find the tasks I'm trying to assign them to (looks like a new user interface). Please advise
Projects is a joke!
Project management is a process too, Zoho! It needs automation with as much depth as CRM. Seriously who are you people serving with these half-cocked, half-thought out ideas? Automation in issues??? But none in for actual project management relating to service delivery??? Does any one actually use the issues automation?? I'm sick of having to close multiple unused tasks manually. I'm sick of having to add myself to the task every time instead of it being automatically added, when I'm the only user.
Toodledo tasks and Zoho
I'm looking to create a project plan based on the tasks I have in Toodledo. Anyone know a way to do that? It would be awesome if they would retain their start/end dates at the very least. And, if Toodledo Goals could be translated into Project Milestones. Any help would be much appreciated :)
Share personal information in Zoho projects (US server)
we use Zoho projects, where we add personal information of clients in the tasks, our GPO tells us that we can not add this information because the server is outside the EU and we would need permission. this is so? the only way to continue with Zoho projects would be to migrate it to the EU, but from Zoho there is no way to do it without losing information.
QoL Suggestion: Create Better Design Distinction Between Tasks and Sub Tasks in Task Lists
Quality of Life Suggestion Task lists can get VERY long, full of tasks and their subsequent subtask. Visually, I think it would be helpful to have a more distinct design of parent task rows (font size, style, color and/or rest-state row background colors) to help further distinguish them from their sub-tasks. Indention of subtasks is nice, but feels less and less effective the longer a taklist of tasks and subtasks get. Thanks

Workload Scheme: allows admin user to create schemes and add them later to the users (employees). For example part time scheme, full time scheme. Main reason being; business hours do not necessarily reflect the workload for a particular person, i.e. my company can be open 24/7 it doesn't mean my employees work that amount of time. Holidays Scheme: companies working in different countries need different schemes, so they can be related to specific employees. For example I'd create a Holiday Scheme
Resource Allocation Chart - Why Are Some Hours Missing?
When looking at the resource allocation chart: Appears that the work hours on some tasks a) are not included on the labels and b) not counted towards the total hours for the day. I can't figure out why some are working and some are not. Client user see option for Gantt Chart under Reports tab but can not see the chart
As the Project user I can see the Gantt Chart report but the client user on the same project only see the option for Gantt Chart on the Reports TAB but clciking it does nothing yieding no report. This client user has been assigned to the external projects tasks as a user and can view Task lists etc
Sub-Tasks and Planned vs Actual Resources
Hi there, If I set a budget of e.g. 10 hours to work on a task, then register 2 hours of work to a sub-task, those 2 hours will appear as actual hours on the sub-task, but will not be added to the hours worked on the parent task. Since sub-tasks are by definition part of the parent task, I would consider this a bug, which limit the utility of what is otherwise an excellent feature. Do you think you might be able to do anything about it? Another way to do this would be to allow planning to take place

View Planned Timeline vs. Actual Timeline in Gannt Chart
Can I compare in Zoho Projects the original timeline projection with the actual timeline of the project in the Gannt Chart? When I change the dates and times in an already defined project I lose the initial definitions. I would like to be able to see graphically my Planned time vs the Actual time. See attachment as example. I got that screen from another Project Management tool that has that feature. That is a very good tool!

When i create a new project from a template, after 'Project Overview' there is a drop-down for 'Group Name'. Where can I edit/add/remove items from this list? I want to change the groups available to me in that drop-down but can't find it anywhere in settings.

How to see Gantt view for all projects I'm working on at same time
New to ZP...just realized there is no way to see all projects I'm working on in a Gantt view at the same time. Am I just missing something? If it's true that this is not possible, I am wondering if others would like this feature also and if it would go under consideration.
Enterprise Gantt Sorting
Hello, My organization has just upgraded from Premium to Enterprise in order to get the cross-project reporting and gantt charts. When I view the enterprise chronology or milestone gantt, it seems that the default sorting is by milestone end date. Is there a way to sort these reports by project name, milestone start date, or by other fields in the chart? I can see that the chart can be filtered on a number of fields but I can't figure out how to sort. Thanks! Jared

Hey guys! do you use the task list feature?! if i create a task list - it looks like as i add them, the 'newest' shows at the top? So, my tip would be, if that's the case, start with your last step first and then they will be in order! notes on timers needs help
timers are very useful, but without notes they arent. yes, zoho projects timers have the ability to enter notes but its implemented in a way that is very limiting. 1. when closing a timer on iOS, please prompt us for a note description instead of just closing the timer 2. on the web app, when i go check the notes on a time log, i can not COPY the text of the note without going in to EDIT the timer first. Task Functionality
Trying to figure out if there's a way to use a task with a specific field tied to JUST that ONE task - so the user can select from a dropdown box or (pick list as they call it) the answer to the task and then click 'close'. the task only requires a one word answer yes or no - i've created Task Layouts but those are associated with each new task created. Hi, I'm trying to do an API call on tasks and it's not working. I'm getting a "General Error" with code 6500. I've looked for this, and can't find a solution. When a user is tagged in a comment (e.g. @User1) it would be great if they receved a notification - either by e-mail, or by the notification button (bell) in the top right of the window. Otherwise, there's no way to know if you've been tagged.

How do you inform the status to customers or notify them that the bug has been resolved? Business Rules can be used to solve this problem. A Business Rule performs a necessary action when the specific criteria is met. To inform the customer that a ticket has been resolved, a notification can be sent to the user when the bug is closed.

Hi, Is it possible for ALL (if we assigned multiple users to a single project) Project users to receive notifications of project progress? Currently, settings for notifications can only be applied to Tasks and Milestones (to our knowledge). Is there a workaround for this? If users are "following" projects will this resolve? Regards
