Need ability to create work flows in Projects
Would like to be able to create some automation / work flows in Projects like we can in Zoho CRM. We have a number of tasks that when completed, would create a task automatically.
Task reminders for Project Template
I can't seem to find the task-reminder setting within a project template. I'm creating many tasks in a template, and would also like to setup a default reminder for each task. If possible, how do I set it up? If not, what is the logical restriction in my approach? many thanks.

Do invited users need to pay for Zoho Apps?
I run a small business and hire freelancers only when needed. I would love to use Zoho Projects to manage my projects. My questions is: If I create a Project in Zoho Projects and invite a freelancer to collaborate, will they need to pay a subscription for Zoho Projects even if they might only use it once on this particular project? Prioritising Bugs
I am trying to prioritise bugs for my engineers, but I can't find a way of re-ordering the bugs in priority order, except by fudging it with due dates which I don't want to do. I can reorder the bugs on the Kanban board, but this doesn't seem to be saved anywhere.
No 'notes-field' in ZOHO-Projects?
L.S. I am trying out ZOHO-Projects (so it is the free version) and I find that there is no field to add notes to tasks. Is that correct? Now I am using 'comments' to add notes. That couldn't be right, is it?

Circumventing the architectural structure of 'Projects'
Is there a way to circumvent the architectural and structural mold of ZOHO-Projects? With certain (small) projects the obligatory 'mile-stones' and 'tasklists' are sometimes cumbersome and unnecessary and it becomes a heavy task and a hassle just to set up the project. I find that the mile-stones and tasklists can even actually clutter up the transparency and oversight of a (small) project. Problem with Projects Dependency View
I am trying to set up dependencies between a number of tasks in a new project. When I enter a row number in the Predecessor field and move to another row the value I entered just disappears. I have tried a number of times, including logging out and back in and rebooting my laptop. I am using a Chrome browser on Windows 10.
Multi-day event
Many of our events are multi day workshops but the Events does not allow for an end date- only a start date. Is there an easier way than having to create a separate event with all of the participants for each day of the event? It is quite time consuming. Thank you.

Hello - It would appear that Zoho has changed the way subject lines read for email notifications from Zoho Projects. Previously (as of last week), the subject line would read: Hey, you got a comment for "[forum name]" topic. Now they read: [user name] commented on forum This means that emails are being grouped in our email application by sender rather than by project/forum. Is this a setting that can be changed?
Transforming a "Subtask" in to a "Task" of a Task List.
Hi all ! I'm using the free edition of Zoho Project. I created my task list, under this, I created some main tasks and under these main tasks, I created subtasks. The problem is in the Kanban view... the subtasks are not there.... So, I'm trying to change my subtask to a tasks.... but the I did not find option to do that in free edition.... Is there any configuration to enable it? Or, We have to upgrade the version to have this feature? Rgds, M

Problem with Upload
Hi, we are using Zoho Projects to work with freelancers and team members on a virtual basis. Today I wanted to upload some documents for the team (PDF) and at 87% it stopped and never finished. I uploaded PDFs before and it worked great. Any idea or hint to solve the problem? Cheers Nicole

Hi, I love the resource utilization idea, but I have some part-time staff, and some "full-time". Our team's full time is 36 hours/week, not 40. It looks like everything is based on 8-hour days. Is there a way to change this? Also, does this consider events?

How to have in zoho invoices, every timesheets, client and projects that we had created in zoho project? (and/or vice versa) In Zproject, I can create a client, and in Zinvoices too, so why can’t I find those client in both apps when I create one? And it’s the same for timesheets and projects. For instance, right now we can export timesheets of Zproject but we can’t import them directly in Zinvoice because it’s not the same data disposal in the template of export/import. I am using zoho in my company. Actually right now there are 2 projects which allotted to me. I am at Manager user. If i want to add one new status i am unable to do that , can zoho have any option to give access to add status to manager . Because as of now only Admin can do that , and admin people are having lots of project so it will affect in all project. So instead of that manager can add status for particular project only. How can I add in the calendar an event that occurs every 2 weeks? In the "Repeat" drop down menu I just see: - Only once - Every day - Every week - Every month - Every year
Locking Cells and/or Formulas in Spreadsheets
I am unable to find a way to lock cells and/or formulas. Also the formulas that I have sometimes delete or change themselves without my input. I can do a spreadsheet, close and the next time I open it the formulas have moved around on the page referencing different cells then originally intended.
Add notes in "Weekly Log Time" timesheet view
We primarily use the Weekly Log Time view, as this is most convenient for our staff. Unfortunately, this view does not presently allow users to enter data in the Notes field for their logs, which means they must be added afterward, which is very inefficient. We would like to see the Notes field made available in the Weekly Log Time view so that users can enter Notes at the same time as they are completing their weekly time logging.
Make a subtask a task?
We had a user accidentally make a task a subtask and it wasn't caught for quite some time. Is there anyway to promote a subtask to a task or duplicated it (and all of its data) as a new task? The subtask in question already has comments and additional work on it, so recreating it as a task from scratch really isn't feasible. Thanks

Template Restore Help
Dear Monica P, We have been setting up a template for our new process and I had just finished it, I went to create milestones, however something went wrong with them and I deleted the milestones, which then deleted all the tasks that were created in that template.
