New user. Signed in via Google. At 'create portal' screen I enter a five digit portal name, click the button, nothing happens except the field clears.
Sorting folders by folder name
Hello! I need to sort folders inside project by folder name? but I cannot find tis possibility. Is there this feature?
Wrap text in project task list
I want to be able to read all of my task from the screen and when printing, At present I cannot see the full text as a couple of the task have longer sentences. Is there a wrap around facility as in excel. It does not help flow of a project if you cannot read all of the previous tasks. Also can you reduce the width of the Dashboard to the left of the screen to give you a wider view of your task lists and tasks? Thanks
Task reference number
Would be great to have a way to turn on a reference number for some lists of tasks. This is useful for closing tasks and referring to the number rather than explain the entire task.
Non working Days
I wonder if there is a way to mark non working days so that they dont become the part of any task/milestone duration. For example, I add a task of 4 days starting from Thursday. The task should end on Tuesday considering Saturady and Sunday are non working days but Zoho shows Sunday as the end date of task. atifa.nadeem

Hours in Resource Allocation
Dear all, It seems like the hours used in the resource allocation feature does not always match the number on the actual task. The problem seems to be that full time tasks (which is defined as 8h per day, 5 days per week in my system) are correctly calculated in the task view but in the resource allocation view, the task size is 24 hours per day. Hi There I have a few question regarding the follow feature in projects. 1. Is it possible for me to add my staff as followers of tasks in a project template? I know this can be done in the normal projects on individual tasks but i cant see a way to do this in a project template? 2. I'm considering Zoho Projects, however our current project is in Jira and I need a way to import our existing issues (there's about 3000). Do you support a way to import either from Jira or via CSV. Unfortunately my searching seems to suggest not.
Can you get a day view of timesheets in ZOHO Projects i.e. when entering through apps
When entering timesheets it is sometimes easier to have a day view. Is this on the cards. Also, I noticed that when changing to 'weekly enter time' that it doesn't pick up previous days that have been entered. So at the moment, my understanding is that the only way to get a view of what has been entered in a specific day is to export it. This is not very user friendly - is there moves to change this?
Show "Tasks & Milestones" as the default view for each Project
Is there the option of showing "Tasks & Milestones" as the default view for a project, rather than the Dashboard? The dashboard feed is useful to check activity, but I often click on a project and then go straight to the Tasks section more than anything. Chris.

Sometimes Expand and Collapse Icon is there sometimes not
What is the cause of the expand/contract icon (+ or - ) sometimes being available and sometimes not. Specifically (as shown below) This is a list of Tasks within a single Task List. All three of the Tasks shown have 3 sub-tasks. Why do I have the icon and ability to expand and contract one of the task's subtask list and the other two are either stuck collapsed or stuck expanded?
Show Project Name in gantt charts
When viewing the Gantt charts there is no Project Name for each task, so because a lot of our tasks have generic it names, it all just looks a mess and there's no way to indentify one task from another. We are using the overall view with no project filters set, as we want to take at look at everything. Why is there no project name shown?

Custom fields are so badly needed in the project module.... In addition, the option to have a manager or similar role set the milestones and have an "employee" or employee 2 role user not be able to change milestones is critical. The manager sets milestones and wants to know when those are deviated from, if the employee can move those it defeats the purpose of color coding for some companies. I have a project and there are both Company users and Client users. Most of the forums that are created can be accessible to Client users but is there a way i can create certain forums which are accessible only to my company users. Moving a 1-day task in Gantt
Hi! Whenever I have task which has the same start date and end date, and a duration of one day, and I move it (to a different day) in the Milestone Gantt view, the task will always be changed to a two-day task with the start date unchanged but the end date moved one day into the future. This is of course very annoying but its even more annoying due to the fact the graphical representation (length of the blue/yellow bar) is not changed. Best Regards Johan

Task hours in resource utilization
Hi! If I open the Resource Utilization view, the default view is current week. If I change this to month, the little blue boxes which tells me the work for each task disappears. This is very unfortunate as they are extremely useful both for visualization and for "task tuning". Would it be possible to add these boxes to the monthly view as well? Best Regards Johan
Can't use templates
I'm trying to learn how to use the system. In particular, I'm trying to learn what project templates are and how to use them. Can't seem to do that at all. I simply can't find any options at all in the interface for accessing/creating project templates. So I gave up and tried to investigate Task List templates -- same idea: what are they, how/why do I use them. I'm trying to follow the information and documentation provided here, but I'm simply not seeing the options described. As a specific example:

I've created permissions for the project linkage. However, only administrators can create new projects - not standard users - even though I've checked the Create permissions.

Hello, I may be missing something but I can't see where I set a dependency in a task. I have created a milestone with a task list with tasks within it, but I can't set one task to depend on another. Is there a newbie guide to this? In the help files there are screenshots of what appears to be a Gantt chart where there is a column to add a dependency but I don't have that.

Hello, The task list cuts off the Owner, Start Date and Due Date as per the below image. I get this in both Chrome and Internet Explorer. I have stretched the window the whole way across my 24" widescreen and get the same thing. Help!
Limiting access to users not assigned the task
Is their a way to limit access to a user if they are not assigned a task. If a user is assigned a task they should not be able to see documents and information related to other task.

How come we are not able to see address information for a Project in Zoho Projects? Our company is attempting to use Zoho Projects to run construction projects. Not sure Zoho Projects is robust enough for this task. Anyone have any insights on this and/or another solution for a project app that is more suited for construction that integrates with Zoho CRM?
