今回のアップデートでは入力規則機能に新たな設定オプションが追加され、以下が可能になりました。
項目を検証してから保存
注意メッセージの表示/確認後にデータを保存
エラーメッセージの表示場所の指定
以下より詳細を確認していきましょう。
1. 項目を検証してから保存
アップデート前:
「保存する」ボタンをクリックしたときのみ項目の検証が可能でした。
検証するには、「必須項目の入力確認」と「保存ボタンのクリック」が必ず必要でした。そのため、保存ボタンを押すたびにすべての入力規則が実行され、毎回エラーメッセージが表示されていました。
アップデート後:
今回のアップデートでは入力規則の実行条件として、「項目を検証して保存する」オプションが追加されました。

他の項目を入力する前に、重要な項目の値を迅速に確認したい場合に、このオプションが役立ちます。
「項目を検証して保存する」オプションを選択すると、項目の値は項目下にある「検証する」ボタンをクリックした際と、データを保存する際に検証されます。
これにより、項目値を迅速に確認することが可能です。
このオプションは、条件に基づく入力規則および関数を使用した入力規則の両方で使用できます。
「項目を検証して保存する」の実行方法オプションは、以下の場所では適用できません。ご留意ください。

ステージの完了のポップアップ画面(商談の完了時)
詳細のポップアップ画面(データの詳細ページでの編集に対するレイアウトルールの実行時)

2. 注意メッセージの表示/確認後にデータを保存
アップデート前:
入力規則を設定する際は、「エラーで停止」を選択することが可能でした。選択した場合、項目に無効な値が入力されると、ユーザーにエラーメッセージが表示され、処理が停止し、そのデータは保存されません。
アップデート後:

保存前にデータを確認するようユーザーに促す注意メッセージを表示するために、「通知して許可する」オプションを追加しました。
入力された値が最適ではなく、入力された項目値をユーザーに再確認させたい場合に活用できます。
「通知して許可する」を選択していた場合、キャプチャのようにユーザーに注意メッセージが表示されます。
ユーザーが操作を確認すると、データが保存されます。また、この設定は各入力規則の条件ごとに個別に行うことができます。
※本機能は入力規則の種類が「条件を使用して検証する」及び入力規則の実行方法が「保存のみ」と設定された入力規則のみで使用可能です。
3. エラーメッセージの表示場所の指定
アップデート前:
項目に無効な値が入力されると、その項目の近くにエラーメッセージが表示されます。
アップデート後:
入力規則の各条件に対して、個別にエラーの場所を設定することができます。
※入力規則の種類が「条件を使用して検証する」、入力規則の実行方法が「保存のみ」及び、入力規則の処理内容が「エラーで停止する」と設定された入力規則のみ使用可能です。
「基準項目」を選択した場合には、キャプチャのように項目の側に警告文が表示されます。

一方、「ページ上部」を選択すると、キャプチャのように画面上部に警告文が表示されます。
その他
上記のアップデートに加え、ルックアップ項目とユーザー項目に対する入力規則も作成できるようになりました。
