Add Hebrew Language Support in SalesIQ Idle Chat Handling and Reminders

Add Hebrew Language Support in SalesIQ Idle Chat Handling and Reminders

Dear Zoho SalesIQ Team,

Greetings.

We would like to request the addition of Hebrew language support in the Idle Chat Handling and Reminders functionality within Zoho SalesIQ.

🗣️ Background & Use Case

Currently, we have successfully configured our Zobot and other bot-related elements to operate in Hebrew—which is fully supported in the main chat flow, Input Cards, messages, and user interface elements.

However, one notable exception remains: the Idle Chat Handling and Reminder messages, which are triggered when the visitor is inactive or when the chat session is about to time out.

⚠️ Current Limitation

SalesIQ does not currently allow us to configure Idle Chat Handling and Reminder content in Hebrew by selecting Hebrew as the system language in that setting.

While there is a partial workaround (by setting the language to English and manually writing the messages in Hebrew), this is not an ideal or consistent solution:

  • It breaks the language logic used across the system.

  • It causes confusion for admins who expect to choose Hebrew from the supported languages list like in other modules.

  • It limits localization and creates extra effort for maintaining multilingual support.

✅ What We’re Requesting

We kindly ask that Zoho SalesIQ:

  1. Add Hebrew to the list of supported languages for the Idle Chat Handling and Reminders configuration.

  2. Ensure Hebrew content displays properly in all default and custom messages related to inactivity.

  3. Maintain consistency with the rest of the Zobot experience, which already supports Hebrew in all other parts of the chat journey.

🔄 Why This Matters

  • Many of our clients and site visitors are native Hebrew speakers, and expect to receive a consistent experience in their language across the entire interaction.

  • Having the bot speak Hebrew in some parts but default to English in idle handling creates confusion and reduces trust.

  • This addition will bring SalesIQ’s multilingual support in line with the experience users expect from Zoho’s internationalized products.

We would greatly appreciate your consideration of this improvement, which would allow for smoother, more professional communication with our Hebrew-speaking audience.

Thank you in advance!

Best regards,
Ram
