Trident for Windows just got better! With this update we have features that make your daily work easier and more efficient. We've added some features that are exclusive to our app and we're sure you'll find them useful.
Let’s dive into what’s new!
Improve email clarity with native spell checker.
Previously, you could use the Zia spell checker while composing an email to ensure that your email goes out error-free. With this update you can now access the
Windows native spell checker to spot errors in your spelling and even suggesting replacements.
Auto-capitalization for sentences.
You can now use the
auto-capitalize sentences setting to automatically capitalize the first letter of each new sentence, making your writing look more consistent and polished.
Steer clear of emails with suspicious URLs.
With this update, you will now receive an alert when you click on unsafe or suspicious links in emails. This helps you identify potential risks and decide whether to proceed, reducing the exposure to malicious content.
Alerts for low or muted device audio.
Discover when you've gone silent before others do. Trident will now alert you if your device microphone or speaker volume is too low or muted during
calls and
meetings.
Meet instantly with Google Meet.
You can now create events that include
Google Meet links automatically, so you spend less time setting up calls and more time connecting.
In addition to these updates, you can now choose whether you want to schedule an audio or video Zoho Meeting when creating an event.
To leverage these new features in Trident, update the app to the latest version by following the steps below:
1. Click the Main Menu icon on the top-left corner of the app.
2. Select Check for Updates from the menu list.
If you haven't already downloaded the app, you can download it
here. Trident is available for free for all paid and trial users of Zoho Mail, Zoho Workplace, and Zoho One (using Zoho Mail).
