This restriction has been put in place to ensure a smooth and guided transition to Zoho Cadences—a more powerful and flexible tool for managing your customer engagement workflows. - Existing Autoresponders will continue to run until September 30, 2025, but no new ones can be created or modified from this point forward.
Zoho CRM’s Autoresponder feature will be discontinued by September 30, 2025.
If you're currently using Autoresponders to automate email follow-ups, we recommend switching to Cadences, a more powerful, flexible, and multi-channel engagement tool for today's automation needs.

Autoresponders were built for simpler follow-up scenarios, mainly focused on email campaigns. However, as outreach strategies have evolved, businesses need more structured, personalized, and insight-driven automation. This is where Cadences come in.

Key dates to note June 30, 2025 – You will no longer be able to create or edit Autoresponders.
September 30, 2025 – All existing Autoresponders will stop functioning.
Leading up to this, certain options within Autoresponders will be gradually disabled to support a smooth transition.
To ensure you a smooth transition and avoid conflicts with Cadences, the following limitations are being rolled out gradually—only for new or edited Autoresponders.
Here's what we're disabling in Autoresponders:
Unsupported custom views: You won’t be able to use system views like Unread Leads, Converted Leads, Leads in Review, My Converted Leads, Co-Owner Leads, Leads Shared by Me, Leads Shared to Me, All Locked Leads for the Leads module, and Unread Contacts, All Locked Contacts, Contacts Shared by Me, Contacts Shared to Me for the Contacts module.
Custom views with Campaign-based filters, multi-select picklists (like Include/Exclude All/Any), or related module criteria will be restricted.
Recurrence pattern restrictions
For ‘By Week’ patterns: You won’t be able to select multiple days or change the custom view if no end date is chosen.
For ‘By Month’ patterns: Week-wise day selection will be disabled.
Also, end dates cannot go beyond the final EOL date (September 30, 2025), and the option No end date can not be selected.
Folder-related actions like creating or editing folders will be disabled.
We strongly encourage all users to transition to Cadences before June 30, 2025 to avoid disruptions. If you have any questions, feel free to drop them in the comments or reach out to our support team.
