Now you can set default properties for the Email Composer in Bigin

Greetings,

Previously, when you sent an email in Bigin, you had to set the font style and size, sent from address, reply to address, and reply details manually. With this enhancement, however, you can set default preferences that will be automatically applied every time you send an email.

You can set default preferences for the three types of email composers listed below:
  • Individual email
  • Mass email
  • Email-In add-on
To set default preferences for your emails, go to Setup > Channels > Email > Composer Settings.

You can also customize your preferences in the composer view, and the tab that opens depends on the type of composer.

Below are some of the preferences you can set for your emails:
  • Default font size - Set a default size for the font you use in your emails.
  • Default font family - Set a default font family for your emails. You can preview the text with the selected font size and family.
  • Default from address - You can set a default from address for all the emails you send.
  • Default reply to - You can set a default reply to email address for all the emails you receive.

Notes
  • Any changes you make will be reflected immediately in the composer.
  • For mass emails, you can choose the record owner's email address as the default from and reply to email addresses.
  • Email-In will only be visible if the topping is installed.
  • Preferences are set by individual users, and changes they make don't affect other users' preferences.
  • Similarly, you'll have access to all the email addresses that you have permissions for. For example, if you're the admin for the support team, you can use your email address along with any other organization-level email address available.
