We're excited to introduce the unified marketing calendar in Marketing Plus, which we're confident will make it easier for you to plan and manage your various marketing activities. Here's the gist of what it is and how you can use it.
What's the unified marketing calendar?
With Marketing Plus, you can plan all your marketing activities and view them all in a complete timeline. We've taken it one step further and now offer a comprehensive visual overview of all your projects and their corresponding marketing activities with the help of Marketing Plus's calendar. This marketing calendar displays all your marketing projects and activities using color codes specific to each project. You can view the type of each marketing activity, its owner, and its status at a glance.
You can create and plan the activities for your team right from the calendar and view them by quarter, month, or week.
Various default calendars are also available, which enables you to view all planned activities, such as email campaigns, social media posts, events, ads, website activities, and a lot more. This helps you drill down and find the activity that you are looking for and plan your calendar accordingly. You can also go to My Activities to visualize all the activities assigned to you.
Apart from the default calendars, you can also create custom calendars and share them with your team. You can create custom calendars based on the following criteria:
- Activity types - View activities like email, social media, webinar, and more.
- Marketing projects - View marketing projects you've created.
- Project types - View different types of marketing projects, such as digital marketing, social media marketing, SEO, trade shows, and more.
- Project objectives - View projects according to theur objectives, such as brand awareness, lead generation, demand generation, and more.
For example, you can create a custom calendar to view all of your planned social media posts for a specific marketing project. This helps you visualize the content calendar you've planned for the project and even add more activities in the calendar itself.
You can also create a custom calendar to view all the activities related to the objective of generating leads.
