Tip #37 – How to ensure compliance and accountability using Advanced Session Audit – ‘Insider Insights’

Let’s say your support team handles a growing number of remote sessions each day. At the end of the week, your manager asks for a quick report. Now imagine having a detailed, customizable log that shows exactly which actions were taken during each session, installations, restarts, file transfers all just a few clicks away.

The Advanced Session Audit feature in Zoho Assist lets you track, review, and analyze every technician activity within a session, offering complete transparency and accountability.

To enable the advanced session audit report, log in to your Zoho Assist account using your credentials. Then navigate to Settings and choose the General section in Settings. Select Advanced Session Audit. Simply choose the checkbox from the list of available events to be tracked in your organization's audit/event log.



Zoho Assist’s Advanced Session Audit is an effective security measure that allows Admins & SuperAdmins to monitor technician actions, ensuring customer data is handled responsibly. The Logs are very detailed and leave a trail for audit and compliance requirements. This also helps organisations promote accountability and team performance, giving visibility to mistakes and assuring that every step of a process is followed according to the organization. If troubleshooting is required the audit trail mitigates reviewing repeated steps, providing the opportunity to review the trail to ensure a mistake is checked and can be resolved faster.
