Hi,

I’m currently working on a Zoho CRM + Zoho Campaigns setup for a franchisee-based organization, where each franchise must only see and use its own contacts.

At the moment, franchisees cannot properly access their contact lists in Zoho Campaigns unless they manually upload them. From what I understand, resolving this requires updating Zoho Campaigns.

However, my concern is that once the update is applied, all contcts become visible across accounts, unless workspaces are used to isolate data.

My question is about how to handle this transition safely:

  • Is there any way to prepare or draft workspaces in advance (before or during the update), so that contacts are never exposed across franchises?

  • Or is there a recommended step-by-step migration approach to ensure that contacts remain isolated while workspaces are being set up?

  • If workspaces can only be created after the update, what is the best practice to minimize or avoid the temporary exposure of all contacts?

The goal is to update Zoho Campaigns without ever allowing franchisee users to see contacts from other franchisees, even briefly.

Any guidance, best practices, or official recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
